Who Left This Dog Out?...
This old Faunus was brought here probably a year ago. It was inherited by some old lady living in the neighborhood and it was delivered to her in one summer day.
Not much excitement was on her face when this thing arrived as it doesn't hold much value on the market but free stuff is free stuff so she couldn't say no.
It is not drivable. That's for sure, but at least it's become a photographing subject for many. I have ignored it thus far but now that I have a new smartphone with a better camera I thought I should take a few shots of it.
It's not a Shelby, but interesting nevertheless. I always wonder when seeing cars in such shape why do their owners leave them get in such a decaying state... You either drive it or sale it. That's simple.
Anyway, that's it from my side for now. I wish you all have a great weekend and catch with you all next time.
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
cool old one
Yep. A friend of mine's father had one when we were kids.
If it was driven there I'd get it started easily!
Always drove classics or beaters, a couple of dozen cars over the years, I always chose late sixties to early seventies whenever I could :-)
Drove across all of Europe in old Mercedes 508Ds too, will probably write about that here soon
It wasn't driven. It was transported there.
Ah, I see! But still it is far easier to repair old cars like that :-)
Quite often its just dirt on the battery terminals, in the distributor or so on... I have taken over a lot of old cars like that, where they were running MUCH better after me spending a modest amount and a couple of days working on them while driving even
I had to zoom in and read the name.. I thought it was a Taurus
Taurus is older from what I know
Taurus is a Ford...
Taunus is a Ford too
Well that explains why it doesn't run 😆 😂
:))
So old and ruined, yet so beautiful. Wonderful details
!DIY
Yep...
If refurbished now, you won't recognise it again and the cost won't be that affordable to many
An old horse still capable of many heavy rides after some repairing..!!
It probably needs a lot of repairing by the way it looks, but definitely not a mission impossible.
