Birds of a Feather

It's always good to get out and about in nature. You always feel better after it in my opinion. Quite simply it's good for the soul. This was literally outside my house and I looked up to a sky painted with birds.

Of course I reached for the trusty phone to capture a few snaps.

Later that day it was out to the farm to foot my turf?

What do you mean foot?

WTF is turf?

Turf is a fossil fuel that we still burn in certain parts of rural Ireland.

Footing the turf is step two in it's harvesting and basically means building it into little structures to aid with its drying.

On the way to foot the turf I was taken with the natural beauty of these flowers growing wildly and freely.

Wherever you are today, try to get out in nature and if ya can't do that, then gift someone a smile.

You never know you might just make their day.
