The Only Free Day
I'm among those who have just Sundays, out of all the days of the week, as a free day with regard to work, and this Sunday sometimes follows the order of other days of the week by slipping off before I know it. I won’t lie, there have been Saturdays when I have fairly thought of not attending church the following day (Sunday) so as to have the fullness of relaxation, because church oftentimes chops off the day — but I have never submitted to that thought.
The following are ways in which I make Sunday play out slowly, without minding the troubles of life and in a very simple way:
Sports:
Sports here don’t mean I'll be engaging physically on the field, but rather I'll be feeding my eyes and filling my mind with those pleasures of the scene — doing away with whatsoever has clustered the mind before then. I have three ways I go about this.

The first is going out to a match arena close to my street to watch a football match(on screen), and this gives premium satisfaction because of the banter that comes with it.

The second is going to the stadium to watch a live football match, and guess what — it’s free of charge. I laugh, enjoy the drum sounds of the fans, and delight in the scenes of goal celebrations and even the frustrations. The third is the one that I adore so much, because on some days I feel like not letting any minute of the day walk off just like that. I stay at home, lie in my bed, and stream the match with a bottle of soft drink beside me. I would scream “gooooaaal!” whenever the team I’m supporting scores, as if I’m right there in the football arena or the stadium.
Having a walk is another one, but I won’t talk about that today. Rather, I want to talk about the newly found joy-giver — and that is making a different food.

The way the days of the week have been running off with one engagement (work or others) after another, I have been finding it hard to eat some unique types of food which usually take a bit of time and carefulness to prepare — and that time is not there on weekdays. On Sundays, I create time and make foods I haven’t eaten for a long time, and the process of preparing them, and that of eating, brings me major joy. At that time, nothing bothers me.

I couldn't agree less with all of these, sundays are also my favorite day to relax and have fun and also meditate.

For some people, the whole week is the busiest in terms of job or labour, so the whole week is busy with work, Sunday is the day of rest for them. And it is the most important day to meet friends and relatives, they take away the tiredness of the whole week, meet their friends and family. They sit together, so they have already planned for Sunday, what can they do on that day, etc. thanks for sharing..
