Inspired by her.
Hello people, welcome to my blog.
When I was a young child, I never knew what minimalist living was all about but I do watch my grandmother who raised me check my bag and box of clothes, move some from the outing section to the everyday section then pick out some from the everyday clothes either to give out or burn off.
As little as I was, I usually pay undivided attention to this act whenever she does it. As time went by I learnt two things. The first one is that she only buys a replacement of new sets of outing clothes when she must have moved the previous ones to regular clothes sections. Secondly, she usually removes the ones I hardly wear, the ones I seem to not like and give them out and remove the ones that are worn out and burn them allowing me to pick some other favourite ones.
This beautiful woman does this usually not only to my wardrobe, she does the same thing to her cooking utensils. You can never get to our kitchen to find anything gathering dust. Grandma will either give it out or keep it in the store till she will find someone to give it to. My grandmother is one of the earliest minimalists that I know , she enjoys clean and simple spaces with things that matter or are useful without clutter.
Then I got married into a single room apartment and all the big space I used to enjoy just vanished into thin air. I had to work around the space we had to create space around my home by decluttering all the unneeded items we owned either from school or childhood, used brace to keep our books and some other stuffs as shelf will take more space and choose simple and multi purpose home appliances to manage the little space we had.
I have a bigger space now but I still do not have things I do not need around me in my home because I like to see all the four corners of my room from any corner I might be sitted.

It's good when we have those good examples at home, from loved ones we respect. With that example, the path to minimalism can be easier, sooner, and more rewarding. Best regards.
Yes it does. Thank you for reading 💖💖💖
Thank you for having me
It seems most of our parents practiced accidental minimalism, my mom is a good example of this too
I think I agree with you.
It's always great when we have our loved ones putting us through the needed discipline in life before we get to the spot of putting them into practices.
A nice post you have there. Thanks for sharing
