It doesn't have to be New!

Hi guys, hope we are all doing fine. We are still on stylishly Saturday and I have come to show you how I styled in second hand outfit fit from head to toe. You know, they always say money is hard to earn and easy to spend. No matter how easy it is to spend, we have to be cautious. Besides, we get a lot of quality things with little money if we know how to go by it. See how great I look in my Denim. My outfit here is second hand from A-Z.

I got this clean shirt at just #1500 from Ogunpa Market in Ibadan, Nigeria. See how it looks like a new one. The inner white shirt costs just #300 from the same market. How much are they selling cap in your place. I got my cap for #500 only at Balogun market in Lagos. The jean skirt is my favourite. I love jean skirts so much, though this particular one stressed me to get. I finally got it at Ogunpa Market at #2,500 and I have been wearing it over and over, ever since.

Look at this beautiful sneakers, I got it from a second hand store. I never knew I could get something this nice. I never wore sneakers since I finished my one year mandatory national youth service until they started disturbing me at work to get one. So, I left home to buy sneakers, I didn't have any particular one in mind but I ended getting this unique one at #6000. I was so happy, it looks so sophisticated and smart. I always love the way I look when I put it on.

Above all, do you know that buying second hand products at times is more than saving money, or cutting cost. It is sometimes about getting the quality. Imagine, I can't count the number of new jeans skirt I have bought from boutique within two years.

I have bought many and they are not only expensive but also of low quality, despite the fact that I got them from the boutique. Once you first set your eyes upon them, they look so beautiful and sexy that you don't want to leave them.

However, by the time you wear them for about three times, you doubt if you actually got them with your money. In fact, you wouldn't like them again.

They would have become so slack and out of shape. Look at the new skirt I bought at the boutique. You can see the first look when I bought it at the boutique was breathtaking but the aftermath of it was so disheartening despite the fact that it cost so much.

Before I adopted minimalist approach, I was always bent on getting new stock from boutique. Nowadays, things are different. I have learned a lot and I now know that getting second hand products does not mean poverty, but they can be more durable and enjoyable.

Thanks for reading.

How I relate to this! Often, the best, most interesting outfits are found in second hand stores. When you start going thrifting, it starts to seem like regular stores are dull by comparison, no? Lovely outfits - I love both the denim shirt and the skirt! Great finds! :)

The denim shirt looking so demure, I got something similar too like that, if we think about it, the quality items now are the old ones. I love the outfits!
