KISS BLOG IDEAS #176 - Open Letter Of Advice To My Dear Younger Self
Hello great community! It's my first time writing here as a new member and it feels great to be here.
In life, we realize much more later as a grown-up adult the likely mistakes we've made while growing up or when we were much more younger. All the hard and harsh feelings we carried through our journey and at times we feel so sorry for ourselves for all the emotional trauma we passed through and the experiences we lived on.
Having a prompt by The Minimalist community on what advice I would give to my younger self on letting go of the physical or emotional things and experiences; So this is me writing an open letter of advice to my younger self.
Dear afriKen, you are indeed a strong girl of great loving mind and soul. Over the time, you have shown and proved to be resilience, having a capacity of your own to push through life with love from your loved ones.
In as much as you are loved by people around you and had also loved them in return, there are times you were let down by some of the people you loved and trusted with your life and this shattered you to think life is better lived not loving with your whole heart anymore.
No matter how sunny the cloud is, there will still be a stain of a dark cloud so no matter how much you think people has betrayed you to make you think people love based on a receiving purpose, there are still people who would love you for who you are with no receiving purpose or condition in return.
You have a great future ahead and a dream that requires you not loving partially so you have to move on from your past experiences so that you can see the true love of people who are still present in your life and those who would still come in at a latter time and not not letting go the past may not make you see their true intentions and show of love.
Have it at the back of your mind that "Humans Would Always Be Humans" and this would make you feel less hurt even if you face any act of betrayal again now or in the nearest future.
Be ready to learn, unlearn and relearn with your experiences in life and don't harbour or live on hurtful experiences but always ensure to learn from them, discharge and let go of them so that there can be enough space to keep loving memories and experiences through the journey of your life.
Thanks for being strong and such a loving soul dear Me.
Yours loving AdultSelf
Afriken.
