Your lucky number's won on ttt 196

Hello music lovers and Hello hivers!

It's Tuesday and I am feeling lucky!!

Actually I am feeling as lucky as any normal day.

The difference today is that I was listening to an alternative 70s playlist this morning. And up popped Lene Lovich!

So we are going to have three fun and lively tunes!

I decided I would pick three from that playlist which was pretty awesome.

I had a title in my head.

Your lucky number's won...

Then I thought fluff it, and went to Grok, Musk keeps saying it has been upgradedto level 3 and the best AI in the world blah blah.

So I typed in my prompt and this was one of the results. I didn't mention Lena Lovich, just that Your lucky number's won.

It is Tuesday and that of course means that it's #ttt or #threetunetuesday and so it's time to share some tunes with you!

@ablaze started #ttt 196 weeks ago! Go check out what it is all about on his last post More Indie for Three Tune Tuesday - Week 196 - win 5 HBI

Do go support @ablaze as without him we would not have this mental fun musical activity that you can win HSBI from! I am happy to be one of the FIVE sponsors and it is kinda fun checking out music from all over this global village of ours!

Long live #ttt 😁🎼 and #threetunetuesday

Where to start

Normally I find something that has triggered my tunes for today...

Well today is fluffing boring. Spotify is to blame. I think I have picked three typical songs that I would listen to that are a bit catchy shall we say!

So without further ado let's get your feet tapping!

Tune 1 Plastic Bertrand - Ca Plane Pour Moi

Some of you younger folk might recognise this without knowing why ... so let's explain...

Plastic Bertrand is a Belgian musician and he was born as Roger Jouret.

He recorded this fun punk-pop hit recorded in 1977 at Morgan Studios in Brussels.

IF you listen to it I will be surprised if you are not chanting along ....

Ca Plane Pour Moi

The song’s infectious energy made it a global sensation and later it appeared films like The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), 127 Hours (2010), and National Lampoon’s European Vacation (1985). So maybe you recognise it now..

Tune 2 Lene Lovich - Lucky Number

Such a character Lene Luvich is! Lucky Number was on a Stiff records compilation I was listening to this morning.

Lene Lovich released Lucky Number in 1979 on Stiff Records.

It showcases her distinctive voice and how shall we put, her slight eccentric style!

It was her biggest hit and the only one I can remember to be honest.

This song also featured in a couple of films ... like The Craic (1999) and Cha Cha Real Smooth (2022).

Shut Yer Gob it's time for the third tune!

I think Ian Dury was amazing and loved him and The Blockheads!

Tune 3 Ian Dury - Uneasy Sunny Day Hotsy Totsy

What can I say ....

Up Your Bum!

Did you catch the lyrics!

It was recorded in 1978 at Ian Dury's home in Rolvenden, Kent. It was released on the 1979 album Do It Yourself.

Of course you can hear my punk background shining through!

This also featured in a 2009 film about the legendary footy manager Brian Clough called 2009 film The Damned United,.

Which was your favourite lively tune?

Note: The 3 YouTube videos that I have shared are not owned by me, I am simply spreading great music on Hive.

I wish that you all have a brilliant happy and prosperous New Year in 2025 and until we meet again enjoy your tunes 🎶🎵🎶

Thanks for visiting!
