¡Saludos nuevamente! Aprovechando que estamos en Navidad, he querido compartir hoy tres buenas canciones (en Inglés), que se relacionan con esta hermosa celebración, por lo que hoy traigo tres melodías navideñas para el Three Tune Tuesday, del amigo @ablaze

La Navidad, para quienes somos cristianos, o para quienes vivimos en países con una arraigada cultura cristiana o católica, es una época que nos despierta muchos sentimientos, emociones, recuerdos y nostalgias; sea que estemos en un buen momento de nuestras vidas o que, por el contrario, estemos transitando por un tramo difícil del camino existencial. En todo caso, la Navidad tiene un significado muy importante y una atmósfera muy profunda, de la cual es difícil sustraernos; así que nada mejor que zambullirnos de cabeza en esta época y vivirla a plenitud.
Christmas, for those of us who are Christians, or for those of us who live in countries with a deep Christian or Catholic culture, is a time that awakens many feelings, emotions, memories and nostalgia in us; whether we are in a good moment in our lives or, on the contrary, we are traveling through a difficult section of the existential path. In any case, Christmas has a very important meaning and a very deep atmosphere, from which it is difficult to escape; so nothing better than diving headlong into this time and living it to the fullest.
Y si bien en Navidad oigo muchos villancicos, aguinaldos, parrandas, gaitas, también me gustan las canciones en Inglés, sean o no clásicos. Hoy les he traído tres de las canciones que más me gustan, y que me hacen sentir la Navidad de manera especial. Dicho esto vamos a ver mis canciones de hoy #ttt.
And although at Christmas I hear a lot of Christmas carols, aguinaldos, parrandas, gaitas, I also like songs in English, whether they are classics or not. Si alguien tuvo una bella, profunda y aterciopelada voz, ese fue Elvis Presley, el único e irrepetible Rey del Rock; además de su presencia que era magnética y hermosa. Para mí Elvis fue una estrella, un genio único, que lamentablemente fue usado y explotado de forma vil, esa es mi opinión; creo que él habría podido tener una vida más bonita, y más larga también. Bueno, pero lamentablemente no fue, así que sólo nos queda recordarlo a través de su música. Y hoy, de las muchas canciones navideñas que él grabó, les traigo Blue Christmas, interpretada por él dentro de una especie de unplugged, el '68 Comeback Special. Aquí Elvis derrocha magnetismo y dulzura a la vez, es una interpretación muy hermosa. ¡Vamos a disfrutarla!
If anyone had a beautiful, deep and velvety voice, it was Elvis Presley, the one and only King of Rock; in addition to her presence that was magnetic and beautiful. For me Elvis was a star, a unique genius, who unfortunately was used and exploited in a vile way, that is my opinion; I think he could have had a nicer life, and a longer one too. Well, but unfortunately it wasn't, so we can only remember him through his music. And today, of the many Christmas songs that he recorded, I bring you Blue Christmas, performed by him in a kind of unplugged, the '68 Comeback Special. Mi siguiente canción navideña en Inglés, es la hermosa Thank God It's Christmas, de Queen. Esta canción del año 1984, fue creada por Brian May (guitarrista de la banda) y Roger Taylor (baterista de Queen) y obviamente, interpretada por Freddy Mercury, otra de las voces más bellas, potentes y emotivas que han existido. El video official que aquí les traigo, es una animación, cuyo concepto fue creado también por Brian May y Roger Taylor. Esta canción me mueve el piso, literalmente, y me da mucha nostalgia oírla. Aquí les dejo el video, para que la disfruten.
My next Christmas song in English is the beautiful Thank God It's Christmas, by Queen. This song from 1984 was created by Brian May (guitarist of the band) and Roger Taylor (drummer of Queen) and obviously, performed by Freddy Mercury, another of the most beautiful, powerful and emotional voices that have ever existed. The official video that I bring you here is an animation, whose concept was also created by Brian May and Roger Taylor. This song literally moves my heart, and it makes me very nostalgic to hear it. Y para finalizar, les traigo otra hermosa canción Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home), a cargo de la banda irlandesa U2. Esta canción también es un clásico, ya que la primera vez que fue interpretada ocurrió en 1963, y posteriormente tuvo muchas versiones, siendo una de las más famosas la que interpreta la cantante estadounidense Mariah Carey; sin embargo, los irlandeses de U2 hacen un cover muy original, que a mí particularmente me gusta mucho y me hace recordar ciertos momentos tristes del pasado, pero luego ese amargor se me pasa, porque la Navidad por lo general pone un toque de alegría y esperanza en el corazón de todos. Aquí les comparto esta otra belleza.
And finally, I bring you another beautiful song Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home), by the Irish band U2. This song is also a classic, since the first time it was performed occurred in 1963, and subsequently it had many versions, one of the most famous being the one performed by the American singer Mariah Carey; however, the Irish from U2 make a very original cover, which I particularly like a lot and it makes me remember certain sad moments from the past, but then that bitterness passes, because Christmas usually adds a touch of joy and hope in everyone's hearts. Hoy estuve estuchando música de navidad uno de Vos Veis - Cómo se llega a Belén; muy hermoso y el de Andrea Bocelli - Live From The Kodak Theatre, USA / 2009, donde hace una versión de Blu Chismas con Reba McEntire, espectacular.
