Rxses and Life 🌹 🎶

Tuesdays are one of the easiest days to post because I already know what I'm going to do. There's hardly any Tuesday that ends without a three tunes tuesday post.
This initiative started by @ablaze has become such an essential part of my calendar that it's rather hard for me to go a week without writing about the three songs I've sung/listen to that week.
Today as always I have a new batch of songs to explain to you all...
- When We Were 16 ~ Powfu ft Rxseboy and Mishal
This is a rather solemn tune. Throughout last week I decided to revisit Powfu and Rxseboy. Lemme see their singles and remix and other songs.
This song is one of the first that I saw, and it's one that left such an emotional imprint on me.
In this song, Rxseboy tells a story about his love at 16. A girl who was being abused at home.
With his lyrical ability he tells the story in parts, blaming himself and his mother for their negligence and ignorance when dealing with her.
In the end the girl committed suicide and it's such an eye opener to how much we have to open our eyes and ears to actually pay attention to our friend's and lovers.
Note the words unsaid and see the signs and warnings before it's too late.
- Giants ~ Dermot Kennedy
This is a song that I stumbled upon actually. Yet since @ablaze is on an indie roll today, I guess I should follow through with an indie tune.
This song talks about change. Being comfortable with letting things go, letting go of the past and moving on, knowing change, accepting it and moving forward always...
- Memories ~ Rxseboy ft Sarcastic Sounds
Okay, yes. This last week I was on a Rxseboy roll. I mean he's just too talented in what he does.
This song is apparently one of his most popular.
In this tune he dives into the harsh reality of rejection and the thoughts that comes with it.
Apparently since it's release in 2020 it has amassed more than 75 million views.
I'm not sure how many it has gotten on Deezer, but I know I've brought in at least one hundred.. ¯\(ツ)/¯
So that's it for #threetunestuesday. Easy peasy.
Just get three songs, write about it and post✨
See you all next time♥️

My first time encountering Rxses, thanks to you. Love the beats. When We Were 16 is solemn indeed. The story told through the lyrics is happening irl and sadly, most don't realize it until it is too late.
Rxseboy and indeed he does have some nice beats.
