Etceteral - Gesualdo
Etceteral is a Slovenian experimental trio from Ljubljana that has been creating music with baritone saxophone, drums, synths, and visualizations since 2020.
They have released three albums to date, the latest being Kimatika in September 2025.
The music combines jazz, groove, krautrock, electronica, and improvisation. The polyrhythmic and melodic patterns are richly supported by colorful, hypnotic video projections, with each frame depicting a different image.
The song Gesualdo is from their latest album.
The video is part of a performance at the MKNŽ rock club in Ilirska Bistrica, Slovenia, on 23.1.2026.

I used to always say the typical phrase "I listen to all kinds of music," but it's in moments like this that you test whether this is true or not. Personally, I find this curious combination of musical genres very appealing, especially Jazz with Electronic music, since I am a big fan of EDM. I love the rhythm and the melodic mix it has with the sound of the cymbals, the saxophone and the bass in the background at full volume.
It's fascinating to hear how the synthetic harmonizes with the physical, it's crazy.
