Today I'm getting back to sharing some music, let’s get into it!
Three Tune Tuesday
Music is one of my favorite things to relax to, as many people can also probably have similar experiences. My musical tastes are incredibly diverse, I think. I can enjoy some really heavy gangster rap (not the radio trash), some metal, country, classical and so many others in between.
One of the coolest things about music is that all of the different kinds have their unique qualities to them and reasons that we listen to them. Some are more chill, others are upbeat and getting you motivated.
There is a post series Three Tune Tuesday by a bunch of people but it's all organized by @ablaze, one of the coolest dudes from Ireland around!
This Week's Choice: Alternative Rock
I think that I will try to confine the post to be 2 or 3 songs of the particular topic to keep it shorter and so that people can listen to one or all of the songs without taking too much time!
It seems like I am dedicating each week to a specific band LOL instead of switching it up, oh well! Here are some Silversun Pickups!
Way more important to me though, is sharing a song with me! It doesn't have to be anything related at all to what my choices are but I would love for you to share a song or two with me!

What a nice coincidence, just yesteeday my wife told me to listen to Silversun Pickups, she said that I will like it since I love Smashing Pumpkins. Even the initials were the same (SP), with a female bassist too. Haha.

Ah.. have I got some bands for you then! LOL Silversun Pickups are for SURE a favorite of mine for many years. They even have a bunch of new stuff which is awesome! So many classics for them..
Have you by any chance heard of the Yeah Yeah Yeah's? I think you would also like them! They've got a really unique sound to them.
Oh yes, I like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs; Karen O is so cool! Hmm, what a great time that era was.
In 2024, I went to an Interpol concert and had a blast. This post-grunge, post-punk music from the early 2000s is really something.

That's excellent! I'm glad you've heard of them and enjoy them. Not to throw even more names out there.. but what about Death Cab for Cutie? That's another very similar band that I really enjoy!

It's funny.. I was very confused hearing The Postal Service for the first time. I knew I heard that voice somewhere before.. but didn't realize it until months later it was him!
I've got a few playlists in Spotify that have this band in them. It seems I enjoyed them before I ever really knew them.
Yeah, their song "Empty Nest" came out of nowhere for me. I listened to them a lot years ago, I love the "Substitution" song and some of their others. When I heard the newer song I was stoked! They've put together a bunch of newer stuff which is great. I love finding bands that aren't 1 or 2 hit wonders like Airborne Toxic Event.
