Trying to Shred my Favorite Solo

....and its from the same old song ive been riffin from. Good ol "Fade to Black" by Metallica. This is just my cover, on my Ibanez Electric guitar, with modified pickups and a Schecter Amp. Thanks to #ecency and #threespeak because otherwise im not sure id be able to upload my videos into my posts.

Theres plenty ways to figure things out, i can always just use my youtube i suppose, but i like being able to do it this way.

Even though, im not quite feeling 100% due to a Cold Virus, i still wanted to jam and get a post going. I did a couple runs to practice today, but im forever rusty, due to practicing enough past 10 years. Its cool though, because i feel like i still got it, but its hard to not make mistakes. Surely with discipline and practice it would be easier and smoother.

Anyways though, time to get this video up. For anyone who has trouble getting these videos to work, you just have to click the play button a couple times. I dance around the play button actually, that seems to get it to work. So give it a couple clicks, its under a minute long.

Fade to Black Solo

This was actually one of the first solos i learned almost note for note. The whole song actually. Its not easy, but in the grandscheme of things, with practice, i did eventually pick it up quite well. It has a lot of Pentatonic scale in it. Blues style of riff and solo. Its Kirk Hammett from Metallica, he is known to be influenced by famous blues artists from the 80s.

So give that play button a couple clicks, move your finger around a bit and it should work.

I already put my guitar away, im coughing and my body hurts a bit....but i should be fine.

Interesting times, lets band together and rock this place during these hard times for our ecosystem.

That turned out good, man, even though it was the wrong video hahaha! I admit it’s been a long time since I last picked up my bass to play... Sometimes I feel like playing again...

Can I show you a solo that I’m in love with from a Brazilian band? (Ignore the lyrics, the guys used to do things more as a joke, but the instrumental is REALLY AWESOME!)

Youtube for some reason has been giving me trouble. This one too actually, is region locked. I can play with my vpn, but whatever. Man, Brazil loves metal too. A lot of famous bands love playing Rio. Id love to experience that, frickin insane. Charlie parra del riego is a random guy that reminds me of the brazil metal guy, such a dear man he is. He can play anything, covers, his own stuff, live stuff. Check him out if you feel bro. Glad to have you stop by, thanks for your blessings. Keep jammin.

I hope you get completely better. I had something similar and felt really bad. Your guitar sounds excellent. But the video was too short. However, it sounded great.

Its hard to get longer videos up for some reason. Feel like 1 minute long is the most so far. If i did it on a computer, or through 3speak directly. Or youtube, but i like that doing it through ecency, it encodes in 3speak for me, so its easy. But im limited on length of video it appears, hmmm.

Thanks though man, im little better now. Do you use ecency?

Dude, you play guitar too? That’s awesome!
I used to play synthesizer in school, but I don’t remember a damn thing now 😄

Let’s start a Hive band! We just need a drummer and a bassist now ))

You play the bass really well, it sounds like a guitar! Have a great day, hope you have a better one. Where do you upload your Ecency post, through the app or the Ecency website? I adore Ecency, its blue tone is so pretty

I upload through ecency usually. Hey, im going to send you points, i have a lot. Use it to do the boost. It costs 6000, for a 30 day delegation. So it gives you like 214 hive power, which is just a little but can help.
