Back to the Rhythm: A Day Full of Movement, Closeness, and Good Energy

20,053 steps — that’s what my tracker showed me today. Time to get back to a healthy routine and a proper dose of movement! Rest is important, but the body won’t move on its own, and endorphins don’t just show up uninvited.

Yesterday was a perfectly balanced day: a bit of relaxation, lots of laughter, quick errands, and an evening walk to top it all off. The morning started with a quick run to the store for fresh bread (because a day without crunchy bread is a wasted day!), followed by a game of football with the kids — lots of giggles, running, and a bit of competition.

Then came a trip to Leroy Merlin to grab three-core cables and sockets — it was finally time to connect power to our kids’ playhouses at the plot. After the shopping, I dropped my husband off at the plot and headed home to take care of the cat, throw in a load of laundry, and run the dishwasher. A quick operation — and back out again. We needed to restock water and dry food supplies for the plot.

In the afternoon, we fired up the grill — good food, fun, and lots of laughter. And in the evening, once the kids stayed at the plot, my husband and I went on a long, peaceful walk through Brochów Park and its surroundings. The warm evening, the sun slowly setting — a perfect ending to an active day.

Today’s lunch was grilled pizza — we tested out our new pizza stone, and it passed with flying colors! The pizza was crispy, fragrant, and ready in no time. For starters, we had skewers, and for dinner — homemade waffles with whipped cream. After so much activity, I could enjoy this long-forgotten treat without any guilt.

It really was a lovely day — full of movement, laughter, and spent exactly how I like it: with my children, with my husband, in our little haven. I may be tired, but I feel energized and deeply grateful.

20053 kroków — tyle pokazał mi licznik. Czas wrócić do zdrowej rutyny i porządnej dawki ruchu! Odpoczynek to ważna sprawa, ale ciało samo się nie poruszy, a endorfiny same nie wskoczą do głowy.

Wczoraj był dzień idealnie wyważony: trochę relaksu, sporo śmiechu, szybkie ogarnięcie sprawunków i wieczorny spacer, który postawił kropkę nad „i”. Poranek zaczął się od szybkiego wypadu po świeże pieczywo (bo dzień bez chrupiącego chleba się nie liczy!), potem gra w piłkę z dzieciakami — trochę śmiechu, biegania i piłkarskich emocji.

Później wyprawa do Leroy Merlin po kable trzyżyłowe i gniazdka – czas w końcu podłączyć prąd do domków naszych dzieciaków na działce. Po zakupach odstawiłam męża na działkę, a sama podjechałam do domu ogarnąć kota, wstawić pranie i zmywarkę. Błyskawiczna akcja – i znów w drogę. Trzeba było uzupełnić zapas wody i suchego prowiantu.

Po południu rozpaliliśmy grilla — była zabawa, było pysznie i radośnie. A wieczorem, gdy dzieci zostały na działce, zabraliśmy się z mężem na długi, spokojny spacer po parku Brochowskim i jego okolicach. Ciepły wieczór, zachodzące słońce i chwila tylko dla nas — idealne zakończenie dnia.

Dziś na obiad testowaliśmy pizzę z grilla — kamień do pizzy spisał się świetnie! Pizza wyszła chrupiąca, pachnąca i gotowa w ekspresowym tempie. Na przystawkę szaszłyki, a wieczorem — domowe gofry z bitą śmietaną. Po takiej dawce ruchu można było zjeść bez wyrzutów sumienia ten dawno nieprzygotowywany przysmak.

To był naprawdę miły dzień — w ciągłym ruchu, ale spędzony dokładnie tak, jak lubię. Z moimi dziećmi, z mężem, w naszym małym azylu. I choć zmęczona, czuję się pełna dobrej energii i wdzięczności.
