well well well. what do we have here?

it is really nothing but a play on my phone's settings. yesterday i was in search for light, honestly it was literal light that i searched; i was planning to submit the "light" photo to a contest by @friendlymoose. but as you can see yesterday, there were nice pictures but nothing "light" related. so today, i took the liberty of experimenting with my camera settings. luckily, this phone had a "pro" mode which gave me a bit of room to capture things dramatically. adjusting shutter speed, iso, and white balance gave me this picture. and this will be submitted to the contest mentioned. you can check out his entries too, he hosts weekly photo contests on different topics.

i was just amazed at how the head lights were captured, and even how the street glowed as a car pass, but could not see the car at all.

here is a fuller view. if you haven't figured it out by now, those lights on the street were from the passing cars. at slow shutter speeds, i could not see the moving cars at all. only the lights were imprinted on the photo.

and here were a couple more shots.

as for my, my fitbit, fitness watch, had a malfunction: steps and activities were not recorded the whole morning. it was only when i checked how my record was when i realized that the watch was doing nothing. very weird. it got out of comma after plugging it to the charger. less steps for the day then.

i got lazy to have a nightwalk, that earlier mishap must have really affected my mood. luckily, the gym was close and a good walk on the treadmill lifted my energy back up. while i was there, i also hopped on the hip abductor and adductor machine to train my legs. this was one of the suggested activities to help counter my itbs or iliotibial band syndrome. i really hope it helps.

and a couple of hours later, i also had some arms and shoulders gym routine with the housemate. yes, it was such a hectic day. i had so much done that day and i know that i wouldn't survive the week if this schedule goes on for days. i am just glad that this was a one time event. well, here is the routine if anyone is interested.

pull-ups (10 x 12)
barbell bicep curl (24.7kg x 3 x 12)
barbell overhead press (24.7kg x 3 x 12)
dumbbell shoulder press (20kg x 3 x 12)
inclined seated biceps curls (10kg x 3 x 12)
hammer curls (10kg x 3 x 12)
dumbbell front raises (8kg x 3 x 12)
cable lateral raise (4.5kg x 3 x 12)

as always, AMPING KANUNAY!
