PROTEST ON THE 1ST OF JUNE. THE YEAR WAS 2016.

There was a protest in the city. I don't remember much of it, but I took a couple of photographs that not only show a bit of the atmosphere but also explain what the protest was about.

(Enlargeable)

Here you can see some buildings and the crowd on one of the squares in the historic part of the city. The city in question is Pula. In the following photograph ...

... you can see one of the many placards with the slogans and requests. The protest had something to do with education, school reforms, and that kind of stuff.

Some more generic slogans ...

(Enlargeable)

... were written on the shirts

I can't recall the important stuff, the reasons, the injustice, and the political implications, but I do remember that I met a bunch of friends and that the atmosphere was nice and festive. There was live music too.

The crowded square provided great business opportunities for pickpocketers. Here you can see one of my friends stealing a fluffy little rabbit from another friend's pocket.

AND THAT'S IT. AS ALWAYS HERE ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK. - THE END.

This wasn't a dangerous protest. Nothing like that. No violence, just a gathering of people.

Wow! thanks for sharing this content with us, I can see the atmosphere is already full for the protests, well, I guess it good to protest for our right when we think we have been cheated in any way or the other am glad they come together to protest for the future of their children's and I hope the protest result thou most people don't protest for the future but to hurt other people by stealing from them. You really had a great shot in the atmosphere, which is really a perfect job thou it might not be an easier task to carry out, Nice job.

Here in Pakistan, 9 may protest in the same way, but all the blame is put on Imran Khan, he has no fault in him, he was forbidding people not to do it in this way. There people are protesting comfortably when inside Pakistan things are being damaged here and it is very wrong.

Muy original la forma de protestar de tu gente, y un ambiente de camaradería.

Acá en Venezuela el dictador Nicolás Madura neutraliza todas las protestas que se hacen, que bueno que se pueda hacer por una causa noble.

Is it a peaceful protest? Some protest turned into dispersal by the police because protesters become violent.

It's good to see a large number of people have gethered for their rights, it's only way to gain your rights where they are opressed.
