ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE HARBOR
The harbor mentioned in the title is the harbor of Liznjan, a fairly small village only a couple of kilometers from Medulin, my hometown. I visit that place regularly because isn't far from where I live and also because it has a nice, quiet atmosphere that I appreciate very much.

Earlier today, while searching through my computer in the hope of finding some obscure music I downloaded more than a decade ago, I came across an old folder with only three photographs in it. I don't remember the names of albums or musicians I was searching for, only that the music was some interesting, obscure early to mid-seventies stuff. Rock n' roll, more or less.
But yeah, this isn't a post about music ... I guess. Photography is what this is about. The sea. The sky. Some memories. And the small harbor in the bay of Liznjan.

All three shots were taken more than a decade ago, probably in the period when the music I mentioned before has been downloaded. In October 2006. My little dog Bepina was young back then. You can see her running across the lawn and enjoying the early morning atmosphere in the above photograph. Music often leads to memories but this time did it differently, without the listening, in a roundabout way that passes through some old photographs.

I don't know what kind of music you were looking for, but when these photos suddenly appeared, you must have remembered the peaceful atmosphere of 10 years ago.

I can't see the first and last photo, maybe it is due to ecency image server issue. but i can see the middle picture, wonderfully clicked. the dog picture looks beautiful.

I don’t know why, but there is a lot of tragedy in these pictures, although, apparently, this is just a rest for fishermen, early morning, or late evening, probably the sun, standing low above the horizon, whispers such feelings, excellent photographs :)
