I consider this will be a fairly simple contest to participate and just as easy to win the prize too. Because to participate and try to win the prize, you only will have to answer a handful of simple questions (each with a different score) that I will ask down below related to the little-known rock band and their cool music that I have brought you today for this week #234 of Three Tune Tuesday that I'm sure you will like it.

Although first of all and before anything else, you first will have to see which rock band it is and listen to each of the songs I've selected for you in this handful of videos below to get a better idea of what the answers to my questions should be to try to win the contest. That a bit later and further down after the songs, I will give you the full description of what the contest consists of, the rules and what the only prize is gonna be and then I will ask you the five questions that you must answer correctly. So let's begin!

«Greta Van Fleet»

«Bonus Track»

Alright, have you already listened carefully to each and every song in the videos? ¿Yes? Ok, excellent! Because now let me just tell you a very brief story to help you even more to win the contest easily before going into describing the details of it.

As you may have noticed, apart from the five songs, I have also added a «Bonus Track» video at the end which will provide you with additional useful information that will help you answer the five questions correctly and win the contest. So I hope you've watched it in its entirety if your true intention is to win the prize. So, you've been warned.

The short story is simply that, being me a great connoisseur of music, I had curiously never stumbled upon this young band or their music but until very recently. Perhaps because of their still relatively short time in the world rock scene, or for other reasons. But I can assure you that once I found them, I was pleasantly surprised by their talent, their quality, their professionalism and many other qualities that will be the ones related to the questions I will ask you in order to win the contest.

Having said that, let's now go into the description of the contest, its rules, the single prize and establish the five questions that must be answered correctly to win the prize:

The contest description: Watch the six videos and simply answer the five questions correctly.
The rules of the contest: None in particular, except that each of the questions has different scores for its answer and the contestant who achieves the highest score in total by answering them all correctly will win the only prize.
The prize of the contest: $10 HBD which will be sent directly to the winner's wallet from my own wallet.

The questions of the contest:

  1. What do you think impressed me most about this young band, and why do you think I liked their music so much? (3 points)

  2. Being me an old follower, big fan, reckless music collector and erudite connoisseur of rock music. ¿Why do you think so much time passed before I stumbled across this excellent young rock band? (2 points)

  3. Which of the five main songs I've shared above do you think is my favorite and I like the most? (2 points)

  4. What other song of this band that you have heard before do you think I would like as much as the ones I've already selected? (1 points)

  5. To which famous song, memorable performance, and great rock band from the 70s do you think the fifth song "Edge Of Darkness" reminds me of big time? (4 points)

Okay folks, I think that's all. 12 points in total to reach the maximum score to win the $10 HBD prize for whoever answers all the questions correctly. Obviously, you can also win the prize with a score lower than twelve. But I'll tell you right now that to do so, there must be at least 5 participants competing in the contest. So I suggest that you invite your friends to participate too, or at least reblog this post so more people can find out about this contest and we can reach the minimum of 5 contestants. May the best team win!

I can probably take a best guess at number two. You never heard the band before until you were drawn to the first seven second of Edge of Darkness whereas you thought it was that band from the seventies but wasn't, as that's where I stopped because I know that tune, I just don't want to put that much time into trying to figure out which legendary band it belonged to.

  1. What do you think impressed me most about this young band, and why do you think I liked their music so much?
This is the first time I heard about the young band and my first impression is that their music if full of energy and I can feel their passion for rock songs in their music.

  2. Being me an old follower, big fan, reckless music collector and erudite connoisseur of rock music. ¿Why do you think so much time passed before I stumbled across this excellent young rock band?
Personally I do not listen too often on rock songs before and I am more into pop songs but hearing this rock band makes me think twice to explore more the rock genre because of it

  3. Which of the five main songs I've shared above do you think is my favorite and I like the most?
This is a tough one because each songs are really good and can be your favorite but if I would guess the favorite song, I will go with Light My Love because I think it is a classic hit and it is the first song on the list you have shared.

  4. What other song of this band that you have heard before do you think I would like as much as the ones I've already selected?
I am thinking of their song Age of Man

  5. To which famous song, memorable performance, and great 70s rock band does “Edge of Darkness” remind you of?
This is a tough question, my guess would be the song Working Man from Rush

Hahaha that is a Challenge, with capital C.

Uhm, lemme think .. you like their music so much because their sound - though unique according to the old guy in the bonus track - is the sound from the past, all the way between the far to the less far distant past. The music grabs you and takes you places, uncontrolled. The voice of the lead singer, the power and its pitch is what you like the most. Lemme assure you, when you think this isn't why you like the music and something else impressed you most, I can assure you: Rethink. Somehow I found a plug in the universe and tapped into it, kinda like the guitar guy in the 3rd track when he climbed the rockls and plugged in.

Not sure when you discovered them, but this evening I for the first time listen to their works. I came across this name already for some time, years, perhaps a decade already, but I never listened to something they created. Am not much into rock, rarely listen this genre. Soooo, I am sure you heard them before I did. And when that is a yes, the time you needed to discover them, is not long.

The symphonic rock like track is one you like, but perhaps the 3rd one is most rocking and hence the most to your like-ing. But I maybe totally wrong and you like the most heavy stuff of them. The acoustic song in the bonus track is one I like the most. Simple, with 3 acoustic guitars + vocals. Not the best sound, but still a nice recording in a terribly small NY City radio studio.
