The Life of a Student

I am tired of all these fatigues, waking so early in the morning and preparing for school. Eating hurriedly and jumping on the bus as quick as possible to catch the morning lectures.

Having to seat down for such a long time listening to one boring story from one teacher who wouldn't leave untill the bell goes. Having to pay attention to different lecturers shouting on top of their voices that we must study their materials of 900 pages each.

Is it worth all these? I mean, why the wickedness? haha. The lecturer teaches only one subject and when you ask Him a question from another subject, he tells you to go and see the lecturer who teaches it. So he doesn't know it but they expect me to learn all and pass all the exams. Oh no!!!

I think being a student is the most difficult job in the world. His life is filled with uncertainties as he thinks of the possible ways to surpass a given challenge. Having to read all the materials assigned to him for the semester or the year and trying to pass all.

When I sit down and think about my life and how I have evolved over the years, I ask myself, am I born to be a student? Haha. Well, this question is a fruit of frustrations which sometimes make me want to say no to more studies. I think even the brain is tired, haha. However, what needs to be done must be done and I must see it to the end. Perhaps, it would all end one day and the sorrows may become joys.

The above short description of the experience of the life of a student is one that I think many people also have. In fact, a lot of persons have been unable to accept the challenges and have opted out of the system and jumping into other things. For some, they have been successful in other spheres, but for some others, it's been the opposite and thus, causing a kind of regret.

What do I intend to communicate in this writing? The life of a student is not an easy road to thread but surely it's a struggle that is worth all the stress.

It is no doubt that the world is controlled majorly by the economic power but it is also a fact that men of great intellect are sought after and highly respected.

One good thing about studying is the fact that it helps to awaken one to a bigger reality and a better comprehension of life. This means that one shouldn't waste any opportunity to gain any knowledge despite the fatigue involved.

Studies are in stages, that is, there is a stage where one is made to study almost everything and a stage where one is to specialize in a field. Thus, to think one is being marginalized because of the load in a stage is an invalid point. .

What is required in the course of studies? Patience and zeal. The desire to study may be different in us in various degrees but one can cultivate a desire that would be useful. A sincere conscious effort will get one a good result.

In sum, the life of a student is intersting but depends on one's comprehension of the essence. We need to grasp the essence and develop the desire.
