Wisconsin farmland-Phone Photography Contest 41

avatar

It's already Round 41 of @untilwelearn's Phone Photography contest Don't forget to enter this week with at least 3 photos and 101 words and you could win some great prizes

Wisconsin farmland in winter is a beautiful scene. . The snow softens the landscape into a snow-covered wonderland of stark and beautiful simplicity

Barns, painted in traditional red, look charming under a blanket of snow. . These barns might provide shelter for livestock and store feed and equipment during the winter months

Beef cattle can thrive in harsh Wisconsin winters and farmers provide silage or hayfor feed. . The animals, contribute to Wisconsin’s agricultural economy.

When they are covered in snow, I think these huge round bales of hay look like giant marshmallows stacked In the fields.

Trees stand tall and bare, their skeletal branches outlined against the soft gray skies. Often oaks or maples, the trees will wait patiently to show their green leaves again in spring.

These photos were taken by my kids as they drove to my house for Christmas!

Merry Christmas my beloved Mom 🤗♥️♥️.
Honestly, I really like snow, since I was little I was very curious about what snow was, so when I was little I thought snow was like flour or powder Lol, if I have the chance later I really want to visit a snowy place.
But meeting you in person is definitely more fun ♥️

I'd love to have you come visit! But I wonder how long you would enjoy the cold temperatures! I think you would be happy to go home again! ☃️

It might be a tough challenge, plus I'm not used to such cold temperatures. If I visit, I'll probably just sit by the campfire 😁

Above all snowfall helps to feel the cold . But it becomes difficult for animals to survive. Various animals die from various diseases due to extreme cold. This extraordinary desert looks just like the place it feels. But this beautiful house in the middle of the desert is a unique activity as an animal shelter. Which ultimately leads to the survival of animals. Thank you very much for sharing this amazing view.

Most animals here are bred for our northern climate and have no trouble surviving the cold.

Yes it is believable as they have proven to be very capable animals for cutting snow. Because these animals have large and beautiful fur that blends with the snow. Love the animals in your city.

MN and WI have a lot of similarities! And some big differences, too, ie. Packers and Vikings.

Well I must say, if this was a real entry, your post would definitely have been in the top 3 winners. This landscape looks so beautiful especially in those black and white photos though I love colour a lot but no doubt you are an amazing phone photographer!⛄😎

Pretty amazing photographs. Even though snow is everywhere, barns, castles, round bales of hay, and trees all look fantastic.

The 'castles' are called silos and are used to store cattle feed of chopped up corn plants that is called silage. A conveyor system moves the feed into a feed trough for the animals.
