A Wet Country Park Walk: Phone Photography Contest - #78
Another rainy day. It's very mild rain but quickly wets you through. At least my car is getting washed.
Thank you to @untilwelearn and the team for running the contest.
Surprisingly, not many people were out. I had a few conversations with a couple of dog walkers. The chats have changed from "God, isn't it hot?", to "God, it's raining again". I don't know what the Brits would talk about if we didn't have inclement weather.
At this point, I thought I ought to get my walking boots out but then remembered they let in water. I found out quickly, that my trainers do too. Wet sock season is amongst us!
I like this part of the walk around the country park as I like the contrasting colours of the greens and browns.
Quite a few crab apples on the tree if someone wants to make some crab apple jam.
I spotted a few fungi as well. If it carries on raining like this, hopefully we will have a lot more coming through.
At the end of my walk, there is usually a boggy pond near the car park, but it has literally dried up.
And it's a goodbye from this chap as well, whoever he is ...
All photos are taken by my Samsung Galaxy A12 mobile phone.
Autumn is kicking in. I’ve just nothing worse than leaking boots. My favourite time for picture taking.
It's my favourite time as well. I just need some new boots before I get foot rot. 😄
Got to have comfortable feet, makes a huge difference.
Unpaved paths, beautiful greenery and rain making it the best time for walking and taking pictures.
I do enjoy the rain. 🙂
