Penny: The Cat Whose Life is a Miracle, was Neutered For the Second Time

This is Penny. Penny came home today after two days to the Vet.

She had to be sterilized for the second time, and this time it was probably much more painful than the first one.

But there was no other choice.

Penny is a stray cat. A cat we name 'Chioni' gave birth to 3 little cute kittens.
One of them disappeared without a trace, and the other two remained around our house and were both sterilized when time was right.

But one thing was not right. After several months, we noticed that cats (mostly male cats) were after Penny all the time. After taking her at the doctor, they said that maybe something went wrong with the operation and gave her an injection.

That stopped the chasing.

But only for a few months.

A couple of weeks we noticed again that all males were after her. They would fight all-the-time. It was starting to get so much more difficult .. Penny was hiding all day and all night long.

She barely made it to home, where she used to come at least daily for eating and being pampered by me...

Of course taking her to the doctor again, was a MUST.
The doctor said they should keep her, and gave her another surgery.

It turns out that something was left inside her. Tissue or something else? Not sure. That caused all the problems. Male cats thought she wanted to mate, and she also had those instincts herself. So all she did was suffer big time.

I hope that this is the last of her problems.

She came back today and she's been sleeping all day long. I hope that I ll see her more active in the next days.

Quick throwback to the ones who are not familiar with Penny's story.
When her mother gave birth, Penny fell down and her mother just went away.
A few children of the neighborhood called me and I fetched the little cat, when it was just a few minutes old.

I fed it for 2 days until its mother came again and thankfully, took it somewhere with the rest of the babies.

A few months later, all of them were around the house :) Healthy and Cute!

Thank you for taking the time to read my story!
