DIY/mini plant pot

There are lots of things we throw away without knowing how useful they can be. In my country, some people don't see any reason why they should recycle some things because they believe once they are done with the content inside the plastic, the next thing is to throw it away.

Some people who know how useful recycling never joke about it. I don't joke with recycling because I know how useful it is to me.

Today I will be making a small plant pot with plastic bottles, the reason why I used this plastic is that I noticed it could actually be used for it and I have plenty of it at home, meanwhile, the onion that was planted inside has started bringing out leaves so I don't want to waste it.

The materials used are:

Plastic bottles (big and small)
Scissors
Brown gum
Knife

The process

I cut the big bottle into two, all I need from the bottle is the upside of it then cut the down of the small bottle and set them aside.

Am sure you will be wondering why I don't make use of a big bottle downside part and the reason is because I wanted something different from what people usually see.

Then I made use of a knife to make a hole on top of the small bottle, I also made a hole in the big bottle cover and then covered it back.

After all that I spread the brown gum on the small bottle and then allowed it to dry for some minutes before I placed the big bottle on it.

The reason why I made use of the small bottle is because the big bottle head can not stand on the ground since I have made a hole under it meanwhile I will be wetting my plant and I want a space where the water can flow through that is the reason why I make those hole.

After the two pieces of plastic were joined, I put sand inside and then planted my onions, as you can see in the picture.

Now my mini plant pot is set, you can try it out as well because it doesn't occupy space.
