I made a zobo drink for my family.

Hello everyone @diyhub community am glad to be here, being here is always amazing.
My day has been awesome and today i decided to make a zobo drink for my family.
Firstly i have known of this drink for years and i have been buying it for myself and for my family
Recently the price of it was high,though still affordable,i told myself that i would love to try doing it myself.

Zobo drink is an healthy drink in Nigerian
Most Nigerians are aware of this drink
It is made from dried Hibiscus petal and it has alot of health benefits as i heard from my mum.
I didn't have the dried Hibiscus petal at home,some people usually cut them and keep it for it to be dry and then used it.

But I went to the market to buy the dried petals
When preparing zobo drink other things are used to spice it up.

Here are my ingredients I used in preparating the zobo drink.

• Water
• Hibiscus petals(dried ones)It is also called the zobo leaves
• Pineapple peel and it's juice
• Pineapple flavour
• Ginger
• Garlic
• Clooves

The first thing i did was to get the dried Hibiscus petal,(zobo leaves) i wash them with water and i put it in a pot with water and boil it.
I added the pineapple peels.

I blended the ginger and garlic and i added it to the boiling zobo,i added the cloves and i allowed the mixture to boil.
I allowed it to boil for 30mins

After it had boiled i brought it down from the fire and i added the juice from the pineapple and the pineapple flavor to it

After allowing it to cool,i Strained out all the solid ingredient.
And my zobo drink was ready.

Some people prefer to take it warm but i prefer to take it with some ice blocks.
If you haven't tasted this drink before i wish someday you will.
My kids enjoyed it and i enjoyed it also.
