Fish Shaped Cone Ice Cream Matcha Handmade Clay Keychain

Hello, how are you? It is the first day of March, and the heat from the sun is so unbearable that my brother surprisingly treated us to ice cream, and I luckily bought the one with four cones of ice cream freebies, and it's a win-win for us.

So, my clay keychain for this month is focused on cold desserts because this summer, some vendors are going to sell cold desserts around. So for today, I am going to make a Fish-Shaped Cone with Matcha Ice Cream, which I tasted once, but the ice cream is inside the fish-shaped cone. Surprisingly, I like the taste of the ice cream.

Materials I Used:

  • Polymer Clay
  • Glass Sheet
  • Weighing Scale
  • Needle Tool
  • Dotting Tool
  • Acrylic Stamping Block
  • Soft Pastels
  • Brush
  • Piping Tool
  • Clay Tool
  • Liquid Clay
  • Eyepin
  • Oven
  • Keychain
  • Pliers

Craft Time!

I condition and weigh the clay I am going to use.

Shape that into the shape of the fish body.

Then I am going to my clay tool to shape the mouth.

And then I form the fins, I shape them one by one, and arrange them by place. Set them aside for later.

Using this needle tool, I added a reference to add something later.

Using the dotting tool, I draw the eyes and scales.

20.JPG

Then I rolled this thin clay and added it to the reference I made earlier.

And then I added the fins I shaped earlier.

Using the needle tool, I added the texture of the fins.

To add shades, I use soft pastels and a brush.

36.JPG

37.JPG

Time to add the ice cream. What I do is I soften the clay I am going to use, which is this matcha green, and then I place it into a piping tip.

40.JPG

41.JPG

And then using the tip of the clay tool, I push out the clay, and then after that, I twisted it, and this is what it looks like.

42.JPG

43.JPG

And I added that on top of the fish shape cone I made earlier.

44.JPG

45.JPG

And then I added this strawberry I made earlier.

47.JPG

And then I added the pepero, which I rolled some clay and cut into three pieces, and then I poured liquid clay into an acrylic stamping block, and then scraped some soft pastels mix them, and then rolled the clay I made earlier. Let them dry.

52.JPG

53.JPG

And then I put those pepero into the ice cream part, and then I added the eyepin.

55.JPG

56.JPG

Bake in a preheated oven for the time and temperature as instructed on the back of the package.

57.JPG

58.JPG

To add the keychain, I put the jumpring along with the keychain into the eyepin.

59.JPG

60.JPG

And then lock it using my two pliers.
