Big Head Goldfish in Oil Pastels

Hello, how are you? So I got sick yesterday from just drinking cold water with a lot of water last night, which sucks. Now I feel like punishing myself for being easily gotten sick. This sore throat is killing me, it is a punishment whenever I gulp something LOL. Haaa... Mood and everything is ruin hahaha.
So I've wanted to take care of a goldfish with a big head, and they look like a genius fish because of how their head is big LOL. I'm just gonna look at how cute they are. So yeah, I am going to draw one of them using Oil Pastel. I hope you enjoy the process.
Materials I Used:
- 200 gsm Paper
- Oil Pastels
- Scraping Tool
Craft Time!
First, I drew the line art of the goldfish using dark red oil pastel.
Then I added a layer to the place where the shadow is, and I pretty much switched to dark and light colors of pastels.
And then I do the background using the blue pastel. I like to make it square, so that's what I did.
Then I added more saturated color to its body, filling some parts that needed to be.
To make the subject pop out first when you look at it, I added black around it.
And then I fill out the background with different shades of blue.
To add texture and highlights too, I use this scraping tool from my clay tool scrape the part that I wanted the highlight and texture on.
I think the texture helps a lot, and I then finish it with my signature.
Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D

Your art is very beautiful. I love how it gradually evolved into such a unique design. Best regards.
Cold water is actually very harmful so we should actually avoid drinking cold water and I pray for you that you get well soon.❤️🙏❤️
The textures on this one are amazing. I think this might be your best work when it comes to textures 😍.
