Clay art : Diy colourful floral mirror frame with clay

Goodday to all the creative users of this community, it's been a wonderful week and I hope you all are having a really good day. Over the past month I have found myself drawn to a creative part of me which I never thought I had - decorating. Creating decorative items with both clay and paper is both therapeutic and artistically fulfilling, it has shown me that with little material and your imagination anything can be possible, and One beautiful and functional clay project which I tried on today is crafting a floral mirror frame using clay. This handmade decorative mirror frame, adorned with colorful clay flowers and leaves stands as a reminder of my creativity and I shall be sharing with you all how I made it, Stay tuned.

crafting process

step 1

First, I added this pink clay and kneaded it well with my hands to make and I made it long and narrow.

Then I will cut them with the sticks in the clay box.

Then I will divide it into five pieces,

then I will roll the five pieces well with my hands and make them round,

then I will put the rounded pieces together one after the other and make them into a flower shape,

then I will press a little inside the clay with a stick,

then I will add yellow clay will also make a round shape of the clay and use my hands to attach it to the flower.

In this way, I have made several small and large flowers of different colours.

Then I will add green clay I will make it into a leaf shape and cut a vein-like part in the middle with a stick, then I made several same leaves.

then I apply gum to the mirror and there I will glue it to the very side, then I will put a flower on top of the glue

in this way I will glue one flower after another around the side of the mirror.

then I will put the small leaves on the bottom of the flower.

Then I carefully apply the molded flower clay to the side of the mirror for the decoration.

And finally my clay floral mirror decorative frame is now ready and below is my final result.

In conclusion, decorating my mirror with clay was a rewarding experience. It turned a simple household item into a piece of art and gave me the joy of creating something unique with my own hands.
