DIY : I made a purse for myself.

Happy new week to all the participants @diyhub community.
Awesome days await us all.
There's this piece of fabric i had kept for a long time
It wasn't sizable enough to be used for sewing any dress.
But i loved the fabric and i decided to keep it.
Initially i was thinking that maybe someday,i would used it for bracelet or an earing.
Well, its been a different story because i ended up using the fabric for a mini bag or pouch.

Here's how my day went,i woke up feeling feverish
With mood swings,i tried all i could to make it to church but i couldn't so,i bath, ate and sleep back
I woke up and decided to shift my mood from the negative to positive.
And the best i could do was to engage my hands by doing diy.

Materials used:

  • Piece of fabric
  • Black colour lining
  • A scissor
  • Brooch

Here are the steps taken

Step 1
Since the fabric was some scraps i cut out the size and trimmed it with a scissors.

Step 3
I placed the right side of the fabric to the lining and i sew round it, keeping a little space to turn it out to the right side.

Step 4
I turned it out to the right side but there was no electricity for me to iron it.

Step 5
I bend it into two and ,i sew from the back side before turning it to the right side

Lastly I got thread and hand needle and I sew fastener on it for easy opening and closing.
And I sew the brooch to make it more colourful
