Saludos querida comunidad, hacía un tiempo que quería poner en práctica mis habilidades en el macramé pero con otra técnica que no fuese los patrones alpha a los que siempre acostumbro, es decir, hacer un brazalete cuyos nudos hicieran la forma y no necesariamente un dibujo con los colores, por eso estuve buscando inspiración en la web y encontré una página en cuyos videos encontré un modelo de brazalete que me encantó, decidí hacerlo con diferente material, cambiando los colores, las medias del los hilos y por supuesto algunas modificaciones al inicio y final, el resultado me gustó mucho y me motiva a seguir adelante con este tipo de trabajos, les comparto el proceso y espero les guste 😊

Greetings dear community! I've been wanting to practice my macrame skills for a while now, but with a different technique than the alpha patterns I usually use. I wanted to make a bracelet where the knots themselves create the shape, rather than a design based on color. So I looked for inspiration online and found a website with videos of a bracelet design I loved. I decided to make it with different materials, changing the colors, the thread thickness, and of course, making some modifications to the beginning and end. I'm very happy with the result, and it motivates me to continue with this type of work. I'm sharing the process with you, and I hope you like it! 😊

Materiales / Materials

• Hilo acrílico para crochet: Vinotinto y beige
• Tijera
• Tabla con gancho

• Acrylic crochet yarn: Burgundy and beige
• Scissors
• Board

Proceso / Process

Con el hilo Vinotinto cortar una hebra de 160 cm y una de 200 cm, con el hilo beige cortar una hebra de 140 cm y una hebra de 160 cm. Colocarlas en ese orden y sujetar por la mitad en el gacho de la tabla. Con las hebras de los bordes hacer 20 nudos planos que envuelvan a las hebras del centro, los nudos planos se hacen alternando el nudo en forma de 4 y el nudo con forma de P, como se puede ver en las imágenes. Doblar en forma de U enfrentando las hebras beige y sujetar de nuevo en la tabla, de ese modo quedan las 8 hebras que se van a usar en el brazalete.

With the burgundy yarn, cut one strand 160 cm long and one 200 cm long. With the beige yarn, cut one strand 140 cm long and one 160 cm long. Place them in that order and secure them in the middle of the hook on the board. With the edge strands, make 20 flat knots that wrap around the center strands. The flat knots are made by alternating between a figure-4 knot and a P-shaped knot, as shown in the images. Fold the beige strands into a U-shape and secure them again on the board. This will give you the 8 strands that will be used for the bracelet.

Solo con las hebras beige, tomar las hebras de los lados y hacer dos nudos planos envolviendo a las dos hebras beige del centro, en decir un nudo con forma de 4 y un nudo con forma de P.

Using only the beige strands, take the strands on the sides and make two flat knots wrapping around the two beige strands in the center, that is, a knot shaped like a 4 and a knot shaped like a P.

Tomar el primer hilo Vinotinto del lado izquierdo y usarlo con hilo guía, usar los 3 hilos siguientes como hilos anudadores, cada hilo anudador envuelve dos veces al hilo guía en este caso de izquierda a derecha trayendo al hilo guía hacia el centro.

Luego hacer lo mimo del otro lado, es decir, tomar el ultimo hilo Vinotinto del lado derecho y usarlo con hilo guía, usar los 3 hilos siguientes como hilos anudadores, cada hilo anudador envuelve dos veces al hilo guía en este caso de derecha a izquierda trayendo al hilo guía hacia el centro.

Una vez estén los dos hilos vinotinto en el centro usar el izquierdo como anudador y hacer un nudo doble de derecha a izquierda envolviendo al hilo derecho.

Tomar el primer hilo vinotinto de la izquierda como anudador y el siguiente hilo beige como hilo guía, tomando una distancia de 5 mm hacer un nudo doble de izquierda a derecha pero en el primer nudo el hilo envuelve por arriba y en el segundo envuelve por debajo al hilo guía, repetir dos veces tomando la misma distancia de 5 mm. Tomar el cuarto hilo Vinotinto que está casi el centro como hilo guía y los tres primeros hilos como hilos anudadores, anudar esta vez de derecha a izquierda envolviendo y trayendo el hilo guía hacia el lado izquierdo.

Repetir el procedimiento pero del lado contrario, es decir, tomar el ultimo hilo vinotinto de la derecha como anudador y el siguiente hilo beige como hilo guía, tomando una distancia de 5 mm hacer un nudo doble de derecha a izquierda pero en el primer nudo el hilo envuelve por arriba y en el segundo envuelve por debajo al hilo guía, repetir dos veces tomando la misma distancia de 5 mm. Tomar el quinto hilo Vinotinto que está casi el centro como hilo guía y los tres últimos hilos como hilos anudadores, anudar esta vez de izquierda a derecha envolviendo y trayendo el hilo guía hacia el lado derecho. El resultado queda parecido a una flor

Repeat this process twice, maintaining the same 5 mm distance. Take the fifth burgundy thread, which is almost in the center, as the guide thread and the last three threads as the knotting threads. Knot this time from left to right, wrapping and bringing the guide thread to the right side. The result resembles a flower.

Repetir todo el procedimiento de creación de la flor desde los nudos planos centrales con el hilo beige, en mi caso hice solo 10 flores porque mi muñeca es bastante delgada, pero pueden hacer algunas más para que se ajuste el brazalete a su gusto.

Repeat the entire flower creation procedure from the central flat knots with the beige thread. In my case, I only made 10 flowers because my wrist is quite thin, but you can make a few more to adjust the bracelet to your liking.

Para finalizar hacer dos trenzas de 4 cabos y cortar el excedente de hilo para emparejar las puntas.

Finally, make two 4-strand braids and cut off the excess yarn to even out the ends.
