A sign that you are in the wrong neighborhood.

Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - Datasheet Review post!
What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit in the game of Warhammer 40,000
The last of the Indexes! A new challenge!
Right, I am finally ahead and by my best estimations as I explained in this Post, I should be able to keep ahead of the release curve and get the remainder of the Indexes reviewed before those Codex releases.
So I embark on a new challenge. I have calculated that there are roughly 148 reviews to do. I have chosen my frequency and have given myself 96 days to review them all. That means that I am aiming at Day 96 being the 21st of July 2025!
Today is Day 20/96.
I have reviewed 31/148.
Time elapsed: 20.83%
Review Completion: 20.94%
A little ahead! Good!
Hobby Fund - Working myself into the clear
With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.
I am collecting funds in the following ways:
- Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD
- Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
- Selling some of the collection to friends.
At the current count I am paying off some hobby debts. I still have $226 to pay off!
Every bit counts!
Back to the review!

10th Edition Index
Fortifications in 40k 10th edition are treated much the same as Aircraft. Their rules are not quite supportive. Usually they are not really useful and of course very static. This building can be set up in No-Man's Land as an infiltrator. Perhaps it can be different!
This model is 100pts.
Let's check their stats and abilities!
Stats
Movement -"
Toughness 9
Save 4+ (armor/invul/Feel No Pain)
Wounds 9
Ld 7+
OC 0
Weapons
Standard weapons: None
Ranged Weapons
None
Melee Weapons
None
Abilities
Infiltrate - This unit can be set up in the No-Man's-Land at the start of the battle more than 9" away from the enemy Deployment zone and 9" away from enemy models.
Fortification
Enemy units in Engagement range of this model can still be shot at, with a -1 to Hit.
Models making a Desperate Escape because they are Battle Shocked and falling back do not need to take Desperate Escape tests unless they have to move over enemy models.
Diseased Cover
Each time a ranged attack is made on one of your models and the model is not fully visible because of this model, that unit gets Benefit of Cover.
Shroud of Flies
When a Nurgle Daemon unit is within 6" of tis model, it gains Stealth (-1 to Hit from Ranged attacks)
Thoughts
Right... not completely useless... But it is 100pts and one would think that it could bite wit that big mouth or spew a little acid.
Well... you can Infiltrate it up to an Objective, then more a Nurgle unit and Nurgle Monster near it and it very much becomes an easy to defend objective to take.
I doubt I will see this being played but it IS possible to play with them!
That makes 19 Chaos Daemon Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 38% Completed! The total of the remaining Index reviews is now 114.
Thank you for reading!
