Warhammer 40k - Custom Built Iron Priest with vintage bits - Unique model

Sometimes in Warhammer 40,000 you can't get hold of the mini you want. Sometimes they are out of print, sometimes you play an obscure faction that has not always had official minis for a specific unit and you have gotten used to creating your own. And sometimes you just enjoy crafting new and unique looking minis.

And sometimes it is all of those things!

There is an Space Wolf Iron Priest model... which I do not own... but also am struggling to find.

In the meanwhile I will use some Techmarine bits to make my own!

I actually have a Techmarine and an Ironpriest to make here.

This will be an Iron Priest. So he will have a Tempest Hammer on the one side and a Helfrost pistol in the other.

I used the Techmarine Axe, a Space Wolves axe and a Thunderhammer to make this weapon.

There are no loose Helfrost pistols... right now this blinged up Plasma Pistol will need to do. I might do something with paint if they don't give me pistols on a sprue with the new releases.

And look at him now!

I think he looks pretty good.

Now, I just need to paint him and he will be ready to go Bless vehicles for the Omnissiah and earn his Sagas as a Hero of Fenris!
