Warhammer 40k - Built another Ballistus Dreadnought! This is going to be epic!

Good day everyone! This is a Warhammer 40k unit build from the sprue up!

My Ballistus Dreadnought Voraf Winterskull, the Screamer-slayer has won himself many battle honors and scored a lot of points and kills in my games.

I always wanted to have more of this dreadnought and in the Slow Grow army that I have planned, I am fielding two.

This is not a recent purchase. Its been sitting in my garage for over a year haha.

So here is the build Process:

This is how you start, with everything on sprue.

Clip everything off with small side cutters. I can't believe I used to use a knife for this part!

Then you clean off any mold lines that might be on the model. The newer models have very few of these as they hide them on edges.

This model's Lascannon still has a hectic mold line to clean.

I did not use the manual to build this model. I just grouped things together and paid attention to what might need to be done before another step.

I would do the legs and hips first. Then the body clamps around the hip socket.

Then do feet and the weapons you build individually.

Attach the base and feet on together.

And finally the guns!

And here we have the new Dreadnought with Voraf. He has killed two Screamer-Killers in a single turn, therefore his moniker of Screamer Slayer.

I think BOTH of them need some more wolfy bits but I am looking forward to the firepower!
