Three Years On Hive Is A Goaaal! 😀

How time flies. Three years ago precisely on the 29th December, my boat docked on Hive, and thus, my Hive journey began. I thank the stars for leading me to this amazing Web3 decentralized platform.

I joined Hive eager to explore and learn every that'll make my journey here worthwhile. To connect, build, earn, invest and support the growth of this community. So far, I can say that I've been doing amazingly well. I can beat my chest on that. Lol.

And here's a summary of my activity on Hive this year, 2025. I'll still need to put up a post about it.

I've been part of various initiatives and campaigns to promote the blockchain both on Web2 platforms and offline too. Noteworthy are the Hive-echo campaigns on X and Coldbeetrootsoup initiatives on the Dapp list and on X too, all of which I guess are on hold now.

Not forgetting the SpendHBD project which I've equally joined other Hivers in my city to promote via meetups and seminars.

Hive is totally a different ball game. Only those who are willing, ready, patient and committed can learn how to play and win!

I've always said it that joining Hive is one of the best decisions I've ever made, and I'm not mincing words about it. Hive has impacted my life in so many ways that I can't even imagine.

Hive is a safe space, though not entirely 💯 .

In all these years, Hive has become a part of my life, a place where I can always come to whenever I feel low and hoping to get uplifted by a community that vibes. Here, I share personal stuff and stories without fear of being judged or castigated. In turn, I get support, encouragement & feedbacks that've been helpful in improving my life.

I knew next to nothing about crypto assets or investment prior, but joining Hive became a game changer for me. It offered me the opportunity to own some crypto - Hive tokens including Layer2 tokens. Not only that, I equally own a share in Leostrategy's real world assets (RWAs) - LSTR, TGLD, SURGE, TTSLA, TNVDA, all of whose yields are autocomputed. Nice investment.

How the journey has been so far.

In all the good vibes, there were lows where I felt discouraged, along the way. Seeing earnings drop and posts no longer paying much got to me. It really affected my investment plans.

Despite that, I still looked at the brighter side and kept showing up here, consistently creating, engaging, and accumulating the little drops which eventually lead to a big impact. That's the power of micro earning, made possible through consistency, patience and commitment.

I'm here to build for the long term. When Hive grows, I grow too.

I believe in Hive, I see it's potential to grow and make big impact, that's why I'm so bullish on Hive, ploughing back a greater percentage of my earnings into the system. In this three years, I've grown my HP stake from 50 HP - initial stake after onboarding to 4,917.287HP currently. The plan is to get to 5,000 HP before the year ends. Will I beat it? These few days shall tell. Lol.

What's next?

Like I wrote before, I'm on Hive for the long term. As long as Hive exist, I'll be here, contributing my own quota for it's growth in whatever capacity.

Year 2026 already looks good. I can feel it in my spirit. I look forward to more opportunities, growth, and connections. It's a year of squashing more goals, continued learning and improvement, including forming new connections, supporting other creators to grow, plus community's projects.

I came, I saw and I stayed. Lol.
