This week an important milestone happened in my journey through this blockchain, a goal I had been working on and dreaming of reaching for a long time.

I reached 10 thousand HP

Easy or hard?

I have always said that qualifying something as easy or difficult is subjective; it will always depend on who is judging it and in this case who is doing it.

For me it has been extremely easy. This is when many will say that I am crazy because it took me more than five years to achieve it. Is five years a long time? Will time determine whether something is easy or difficult? The truth is that it's been five happy years on this blockchain and it doesn't seem to me that it was a sacrifice to get to 10K.

One thing that helps to make a goal not seem difficult is not to obsess about it. If you spend every day thinking about that goal with a desperate desire to reach it, the road will be hell for you. If, on the other hand, you enjoy the journey and give it more importance than the goal itself, it will arrive and you will not even realize it.

My path through Hive has been a lot of fun, full of joys, so reaching a number of HP is part of it and I enjoy it. That for me is something easy, because it has not required sacrifice, in fact it is quite the opposite; I feel that sacrifice is to move away from Hive, to stop publishing, etc. That for me, yes it is difficult.

Importance of HP

Since I came here I was taught that HP is the lifeblood of Hive. Without HP we would not be here. It gives us influence, but beyond the fact that our voice is heard more the more we have HP; it is the way we put this economy to work and it is the way that by rewarding other authors, we impact their lives and the lives of their families.

We have at Hive an incredible business model and its existence depends on HP. I've always wanted to be part of that with more HP. I don't like leaving that burden to others and relying on whales. It's about growing and after five plus years I'd be embarrassed if I hadn't grown. I owe it to the community.

My growth strategy has changed. Before it was only based on posting and voting from the @rutablockchain trail. Now I plan to grow faster, although I already notice that curation leaves me good benefits that grow exponentially. I am also growing with Hive traiding which I do from my other account. When the bullrun comes back I will make a power down to buy later. I always miss those opportunities thinking it will not go lower and here we are with a Hive at 0.36 after reaching $3.

I hope to sell Hive to buy after a few months at at least a quarter and thus quadruple the Hive and get to Orca. That is my next goal and I see it very likely by 2026, so it would take me three years to make 40,000 Hive, whereas from zero to ten thousand took five and a half years. I am aware of the power of compound interest and if we help it with a bullrun it is impressive.

Esta semana ocurrió un hito importante en mi transcurrir por esta blockchain, una meta que llevaba tiempo trabajando y soñando en alcanzarla.

¿Fácil o difícil?

Siempre he dicho que calificar a algo de fácil o difícil es subjetivo; dependerá siempre de quién lo juzgue y en este caso quien lo realice.

Para mí ha sido extremadamente fácil. Es aquí cuando muchos dirán que estoy loco porque me tomó más de cinco años en lograrlo. ¿Es cinco años mucho tiempo? ¿El tiempo determinará que algo sea fácil o difícil? La verdad es que han cinco años felices en esta blockchain y no me parece que haya sido un sacrificio llegar a 10K.

Algo que ayuda para que una meta no parezca difícil, es no obsesionarse con ella. Si te la pasas todos los días pensando en esa meta con un desespero por llegar, se te hará un infierno el camino. Si por el contrario disfrutas el camino y le das más importancia que a la misma meta, esta llegará y ni te habrás dado cuenta.

Mi camino por Hive ha sido muy divertido, lleno de alegrías, por lo que llegar a un número de HP es parte de él y lo disfruto. Eso para mí es algo fácil, porque no ha requerido sacrificio, de hecho es todo lo contrario; siento que sacrificio es alejarse de Hive, dejar de publicar, etc. Eso para mí, sí es difícil.

Importancia del HP

Desde que llegué aquí me enseñaron que el HP es el alma de Hive. Sin HP no estaríamos aquí. Esto nos da influencia, pero más allá de que nuestra voz se escuche más mientras más tengamos HP; es la forma como ponemos en marcha esta economía y es la forma como recompensando a otros autores, impactamos en sus vidas y las de sus familiares.

Tenemos en Hive un modelo de negocio increíble y su existencia depende del HP. Siempre quise formar parte de eso con más HP. No me gusta dejar esa carga a otros y depender de ballenas. Se trata de crecer y después de más de cinco años se me caería la cara de vergüenza si no hubiese crecido. Se lo debo a la comunidad.

Mi estrategia de crecimiento ha cambiado. Antes solo se basaba en publicar y votar desde el trail de @rutablockchain. Ahora pienso crecer más rápido, aunque ya noto que la curación me deja buenos beneficios que crecen exponencialmente. También estoy creciendo con el traiding de Hive que lo hago desde mi otra cuenta. Cuando vuelva el bullrun haré un power down para comprar después. Siempre pierdo esas oportunidades pensando que no bajará más y aquí estamos con un Hive a 0.36 después de haber llegado a $3.

Espero vender Hive para comprar pasados unos meses en por lo menos la cuarta parte y así cuadruplicar los Hive y llegar a Orca. Ese es mi próximo objetivo y lo veo muy probable para 2026, por lo que me llevaría tres años hacer 40 mil Hive, mientras que desde cero a diez mil demoré cinco años y medio. Soy consciente del poder del interés compuesto y si lo ayudamos con un bullrun es impresionante.
