Saludos a toda la comunidad de Full Deportes, quizás el título de mi actual entrega en el feed de la comunidad, no tenga nada que ver con el deporte, pero sentimentalmente si. Hace solo unos minutos, acabo de leer la noticia de la desvinculación de los voleibolistas de playa con nuestro país. La dupla de Noslen Díaz y Jorge Luis Alayo, oficialmente ya no pertenecen a la Federación Cubana de dicho deporte, y eso a todas luces duele.

Causas

Según estuve leyendo, la causa fundamental ha sido el impago de la Federación a estos atletas que actualmente están rankeados entre los primeros 10 del mundo. No es sencillo en un deporte en donde hasta 3 duplas de Brasil son las mejores del mundo, ver a dos muchachos jóvenes del Caribe batirse net por medio con los mejores del mundo, y vencerles. El mísero salario que le pagaban a esos jóvenes, era insuficiente porque ellos merecían muchísimo más y no se les valoraba. Se es injusto con esos atletas que cogen sol, ya que es un deporte que se practica al aire libre.

Resultados deportivos de esta dupla

Meses antes del Mundial de mayores, estos chicos se encontraban en una base de entrenamiento en Rusia, en donde compitieron en todos los campeonatos nacionales de ese país. Los resultados fueron muy positivos, quedando en el podio en todos los circuitos profesionales del país euroasiatico. En el Mundial, tuvieron una fase de grupos perfecta, y estuvieron a las puertas de las semifinales, pero lastimosamente cayeron en cuartos de final frente a una dupla muy bien rankeada como la de Estados Unidos.

Consecuencias

Con esta decisión, los que de verdad amamos el deporte cubano, nos sentimos desanimados, porque no son los primeros, ni serán los últimos en dar la espalda, sea por la razón que sea. Sinceramente pienso que ahora sucederá lo mismo que sucedió cuando Sergio González y Nivaldo Díaz se separaron, esperar que salga una nueva generación que vuelva a ilusionar a los cubanos. Talento hay, pero sucede lo siguiente, la segunda dupla de nuestro país, integrada por Gómez y Veranes, aún están muy verdes para medirse al más alto nivel, necesitan foguearse como Noslen y Alayo si quieren dar pasos de gigantes.
