Where Green Meets Lake; Akpınar Social Facilities🏞️Yeşilin Gölle Buluştuğu Yer; Akpınar Sosyal Tesisleri

Hello. My favorite thing to write about is travelogues, and I'm back with another place with a vibrant view: the Akpınar Picnic Area and Social Facilities in the Gölmarmara district of Manisa. When I lived in Izmir, we drove here in about an hour. There's a pretty large parking lot. Finding a parking space is no problem. 🅿️Frankly, I didn't think coming here would be a good idea. We even parked the car and walked a little further inland, but I still didn't like it. That is, until I saw the lake in the middle of the picnic area and the camellias that looked like tiny houses. 🏠🛖 This view really surprised me, and I can say I really liked it. When I say "social facility," I think of a place we take a break from on long journeys.

Wooden pergolas line one side of the lake, with wooden benches to sit under. There are plenty of seating areas around where you can relax and enjoy the lake view. You can bring your own food and have a picnic. You can barbecue by the pond, but if you use the equipment offered by the businesses here, you'll have to pay for both the equipment and the space. However, you can barbecue for free with your own supplies in the forested area on the other side of the lake.🍖🍗 There were already people barbecuing, and the delicious smells wafted up to our noses. It's hard not to be hungry when you smell the fresh barbecue. We brought a few light snacks, tea, and cold drinks.🌯☕🫖We sat in one of the gazebos overlooking the lake and had our mini picnic. A bee that smelled the food bothered us a lot. The moment the bee calmed down and landed on the table, my friend put a glass on it. Of course, we didn't hurt it. As soon as we got up from the table, we picked up the glass and put it aside. 🐝Bees are very important creatures for the balance of nature.🐝🍯 When two ducks in the lake saw us eating something, they swam towards us. We fed them by cutting the food into small pieces that the ducks could eat. They grabbed it and started eating too. The other ducks that saw their friends eating something swam towards us too.🦆 However, we didn't have much food left, so we shared the last of the food with them, and when they ran out of food, they went to other places where there were others. Feeding the swimming ducks was so fun.🦆

While exploring the lake, there were disused houses or structures used as dry storage/cellars. My friend and I took photos of the areas with the Akpınar Monument sign. 📸A little further on, a swing had been set up in the lake, and it was decorated with flowers. 🌸🌺 What caught our attention the most was how clean this area was. As we walked around the lake, we occasionally rested on the benches, and our friends were behind us taking pictures of us with their phones, which we really liked. 📸🖼️ There were motorized swans you could ride on the lake. You had to buy a ticket from the market at the entrance to ride these. As we walked towards the exit, there were colorful, beautiful areas decorated with local motifs, perfect for taking photos. This place was very different from your typical resting places; don't be fooled by the name like I was. 🏞️

Merhabalar. Yazmayı en çok sevdiğim şey gezi yazıları yine renkli manzaraları olan bir yer ile karşınızdayım; Akpınar Mesire Alanı ve Sosyal Tesisleri, Manisa'nın Gölmarmara ilçesinde bulunuyor. Biz İzmir'de oturuyorken kendi aracımız ile yaklaşık 1 saatte buraya gelmiştik. Oldukça geniş bir otopark alanı vardı. Park konusunda hiçbir sıkıntı yaşamazsınız. 🅿️Açıkçası braya gelmenin hiç iyi bir fikir olmayacağını düşünüyordum. Hatta arabayı park edip biraz içeri girdik ancak hâlâ beğenmemiştim. Tââ ki mesire alanının ortasında ki gölü ve üzerine yapılan minik evleri andıran kamelyaları görene kadar. 🏠🛖 Bu manzara beni çok şaşırttı ve çok beğendiğimi söyleyebilirim. Sosyal Tesis deyince uzun yolculuklarda durup mola verdiğimiz bir tesis gelmişti aklıma.

Gölün bir tarafına sıralı ahşap kamelyalar yapılmış içlerine oturmak için yine ahşap banklar konuşulmuştu. Etrafta da dinlenmek ve göl manzarasıni seyretmek yeterli oturma alanları var. Buraya kendi yiyeceklerinizi getirip piknik yapabilirsiniz. Göletin başında mangalda yapabilirsiniz ancak burada bulunan işletmelerin malzemelerini kullanacaksanız hem kullandığınız eşyalar için hemde yer için ücret ödemeniz gerek. Ancak göletin diğer tarafında ki ormanlık alanda yine kendi getirdiğiniz malzemelerle ücretsiz şekilde mangalınızı yakabilirsiniz.🍖🍗 Mangal yapanlarda vardı zaten ve mis gibi kokular burnumuza geliyordu. Taze mangal kokusunu alanın acıkmaması pek mümkün değil. Biz birkaç hafif yiyecek, çay ve soğuk içeceklermizi getirmiştik.🌯☕🫖 Göl manzaralı kamelyalardan birine oturup mini pikniğimizi yaptık. Yiyeceklerin kokusunu alan bir arı bizi epey rahatsız etti. Arı tam sakinleşip masaya konduğu anda arkadaşım üstüne bardak koydu tabiki ona zarar vermedik masadan kalkarken bardağı kaldırıp onu serbest bıraktık. 🐝Doğanın dengesi için arılar çok önemli canlılar.🐝🍯Bizim birşeyler yediğimizi gören gölün içindeki iki ördek bizim olduğumuz tarafa doğru yüzdüler. Yiyeceklerimizden onların yiyebileceği formda olanları küçük parçalara ayırarak ördekleri doyurduk. Kapış kapış yemeye başladılar. Arkadaşlarının birşeyler yediğini gören diğer ördekler de bize doğru yüzdüler.🦆 Ancak fazla yiyecek kalmamıştı elimizde son kalan tüm yiyecekleri onlarla paylaştık yiyecekler bitince başka insan topluluğunun olduğu yerlere gittiler. Yüzen ördekleri beslemek çok keyifliydi.🦆

Gölün etrafını keşfe çıktığımızda kullanım dışı kalmış evler veya kuruluk-kiler amacıyla kullanılan yapılar vardı arkadaşımla Akpınar Hatırası yazısının olduğu yerde birbirimizin fotoğrafını çektik.📸Az daha ilerde ise gölün üstüne doğru salıncak kurulmuş ve salıncağın üstü çiçeklerle süslenmişti.🌸🌺 En çok dikkatimizi çeken de bu çevrenin gayet temiz olmasıydı. Gölün etrafında yürürken ara ara banklarda dinleniyorduk arkadaşlarımız aramanızda fotoğrafımızı çekmişler çok hoşumuza gitmişti.📸🖼️ Gölün içinde gezmek içinde motorlu kuğular vardı. Bunlara binmek için girişteki marketten bilet almak gerekiyordu. Çıkışa doğru yürüdükten sonra yerel motiflerle süslenmiş rengarenk çok güzel fotoğraf çekinme alanları vardı. Burası klasik dinlenme tesislerinden oldukça farklıydı benim gibi ismine aldanıp gelmekten vazgeçmeyin.🏞️
