Celebrate love not only for one day

I was really getting old and my preferences had changed. First, was that I didn't want to celebrate my birthday publicly with friends, I rather Spend it with the whole family and now it seemed like the Valentine's day had no special meaning to me. I mean I'm not bitter with love but I just think that valuing one person and being the "better half" in every way not only for one day but all through the days you were together. My husband is like that so I could not ask for anything more.

Anyway, on February 14th in Ph time, I got up in bed after the alarm went off, I still felt heavy and sleepy and I had to drag myself to the kitchen to prepare breakfast and send the kids to school on time. My daughter went up and her usual routine is to greet her granny good morning.

She went back bringing me these three flowers and greeting me Happy valentine's day and gave me a hug and kisses. Laling is so sweet and it made my valentine's day special.

We cuddled for a while and took a picture on remembrance of the special moment we had. She is a blessing!

Cuddles did not last long as I had to make fire to cook food, and I realized that I had to put my crochet flowers away.

I made these flowers from December 2022 to February 2023 in the hope that I could sell them yet things did not go as planned so the kids played with other flowers and lost them(or maybe @eylii sold them and did not remit the money hehe).

Out of the many flowers I made these were the ones that's left and I decided that I will give it to my kids so they won't have to buy one for their teachers. This is my way of advertising too.

Laling modeled the flowers for me and when I asked them what their teachers' reaction was, they said their teachers were amazed.

But the highlight of my post is this

I asked Laling to pick one flower for my mom and she gave her it. My mom was overwhelmed and they both shared a hug and a kiss. It's been a while since my father died and I am pretty sure she missed those times when they were together. Her love for him was unwavering even when he was gone already.

Honestly, I envy my kids having loving grandparents they could dun into. As for me,I have touched my Lola when she was in her deathbed a few days before she died in the fear of her harsh words and doings. So much trauma for the whole family.

Anyway, enough of that. I am very thankful for my lovely daughter for making my Valentine's day extra special. The love of my kids are priceless and worth celebrating too.

I hope they stay this sweet as they grow up, giving unconditional love to their families and friends.

Now that the flowers were all gone, I hope I could make my long term plan into action in buying new yarns for an upcoming crochet business. May God bless me and help me make my plans come true.
