Store and Photography
For sure, most people think that watching over the store is the easiest. You just sit there and only stand when a customer buys. And maybe they'd think it's the laziest job because a store attendant does nothing. Well, half the truth but half is wrong too.
Imagine you don't do anything when there's no customer to come by? Imagine you are not allowed to go outside, thinking there might be a customer. You can't easily go to a certain place to relax or unwind because again, a store should be opened. So many things you can not do because you have a store that needs to be watched over.
24/7 and from morning ‘till evening, the store is open. Once, the store was closed for personal reasons. That's the time, finally, there will be time to take a break and rest after a stressful day. Why is it stressful? Actually, when you don't do anything, you get bored. You're not physically tired but mentally. When a mind is tired, that's the time everything seems tiring. Then, the mind starts to be unhappy and exhausted.
That's what I felt before I didn't have a camera. Gadgets couldn't relieve the frustration inside of doing something. It only forgets the things you wanted to do but when it wears off; Here's at it is again, every day becomes lifeless. That's how happy I was when I had my first camera. It was the cheapest one I guess, because it was a 2nd hand and not a professional camera. Even so, it made me happy to use it.
When I got bored, I grabbed my camera and started capturing random things. Sometimes, what was on my mind, either the goods we are selling or the people passing by from a distance. When I'm still not content, I go outside to capture different things. For example, flowers, birds, vehicles, establishments, roads, and many more. So yeah, I'm so thankful for my camera. Even though I'm accepting bookings for events like weddings, birthdays, reunions, and more. I wouldn't deny that I'm happy without accepting money from my photographs. Though when there is money, it's even more amazing.
I don't force people to hire me because I'm still a beginner. I understand that my worth is not that much or not that good yet to be picked. So yeah, I'm just here at my store waiting for a client to book me out of any type of event. I am more willing and more happy to be chosen because it means my photography is quite good enough.
