I may be living far from my parents as they are in the province; in the countryside I could now buy their needs, thanks to online shopping.

I mentioned countless times that I grew up in the countryside. Thus, how far are we from the town?
I tried checking at google from the wharf but it says, google couldn't find it. Just for a basis the fare on the tricycle costs $2 for a special trip. That was one of the reasons why my parents before would buy only Rice if they had money. Viand will depend on whatever is available in the neighborhood, what vegetables are in season.

Thus, the last time I went home there was a huge progress. What I loved most was; I can order online and can be delivered in our town. Before, I needed to send money to our older sister then she would be the one to buy and bring it home. The problem was, she only visits our parents once a month.

So last week, I tried ordering an Oatmeal directly from the leading company and here was the experience.

I placed my order last September 30 and it was delivered October 5. It only takes five days considering the delivery address is in Visayas, and Island to be exact.

It was my younger brother who picked it up, as the rider couldn't make it in our house. Why?

He needs to walk at least half a kilometer as no vehicle could pass by in a narrow muddy trail. It's been raining occasionally and some of the neighbors cows passed by making it more mud-cake.

Aside from being slippery, there are some areas that are high and dangerous to attempt. Not to mention bamboo that bent down.

Only estimated at 100 kilometers away from home that the road may be rocky but at least vehicles could pass.

And that's the small store or what we called tiyangge in our dialect where the rider left our orders. Sometimes, we would wait for the delivery but at times we can't. They just leave it here.

Good thing my father and the owner are friends .

And here are my orders. My Mom said she wants banana flavored while my father said anything will do.

I can say yes! My sister ordered a blender since our mother wanted to Blend fruits
So far it was carefully packed and arrived in good condition.

Now, I am waiting for my other orders to be delivered there. It was so convenient and at the same time I felt at ease. Buying what they need now is no longer hard even though I'm away as long as I have money .
