A new star of the Hive-mind approaches: Here's crimsonwrites, signing in!

Hello hello and warm greetings to the people of the Hive! This is crimsonwrites here, signing in for the first time as I set off on a new journey here in the Hive, ready to turn inspirations and creative writing and accompanying it with wonderful quality pictures into fun and nice reads! Before I set off into the Hive's horizons, let me do myself a quick introduction about myself and my backgrounds, as well as my deepest gratitude to @antonette for bringing me into the Hive and giving me the opportunity to finally use my passion in writing and my skills in expressing my thoughts, inspirations and imagination. Thank you so much! Now, lets get right into it.

Hi, this is crimsonwrites— in all lowercase letters— and I am a newly registered member of the Hive! So this right here is my first blog post picture, and as you can see, I am totally not well-dressed and looking enough for the welcome occasion, but I am about more than eager to be a productive member, and ensure nice quality blogs. I am 18 years old, and I am currently a university college student pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, which is the main focus of my college study and college life. Fortunately, I have an scholarship from one of the government agencies and it helps me a lot with my tuition fees and allowances. Here is a picture of a glimpse of my university:

As for my hobbies, they include writing— creative writing specifically—, music, instruments, drawing and sketching, and mostly— gaming. Other than that, I also like watching anime and movies, and taking pictures of wonderful sceneries, including daily life events, and simple and sweet bite-sized sceneries in sidewalks with nature. I am a proud gamer, as well as a novice writer excelling in creative and figurative writing such as poems, prose-poems and short stories. Now, lets move on to some backgrounds of my hobbies.

From my childhood, playing games has always been an inseparable part of my hobbies, and needless enough to say that I am quite addicted to it, pouring most of my time in a single daily basis into exploring and discovering worlds in many games. In fact, most of my future content will be about gaming tips, experiences and thoughts on games that I want to tackle. I rarely never feel mesmerized when playing games that capture not only amazing world building views and the whimsical sceneries that it has, but also the storytelling, the writing, the in-game lore, and the quality of it as a whole. I can often tell and dissect each aspect that a game has, and make my assessments and analyses from each.

Apart from gaming, I have always been someone who quite excels in writing, though I cannot really much put myself on a high pedestal by saying that I am a great writer who knows a lot about writing, and English isn't really my first language, so yeah, insert chuckle here. So far, I have written quite a numerous amount of short poems, including prose-poems, which are little narrative micro-fictional works that only has three or four sentences at best. I can also write short stories, if given the enough amount of time for me to make one, and so far, I have only made one, haha. My content won't be tackling much creative writing analyses and such of the sort, but I will try my best to bring some of that creative dust into my blog works.

Apart from my hobbies, as a Civil Engineering student, my content also contains some educational tidbits such as tips and how to's focusing on Mathematics and Basic Calculus. Some of this will include basic mathematics, algebra, and differential and integral calculus functions. I am not that good at math myself, but I will try to encapsulate each lesson into bits that are easy to follow and understand. In the future, I am hoping to create more educational content blogs for many to learn, and ensuring that it is feasible to learn and apply.

So, to conclude, my content will be tackling about more on gaming, sceneries, movies and anime reviews and thoughts, as well as some educational content.
