Hey, I hope you're having a great weekend and enjoying some cold drinks. While it's getting cold in some parts of my country, the city I live in is still pretty warm, so I can still enjoy my coffee and whatever else I'm drinking cold. Today, however, we're talking about something different: beer!

Since the day I joined Hive, many of my friends have invited me to the #beersaturday event. Two of them, in particular, invited me to this event more than once. Thanks @zekepickleman and @godfish. I'm happy I finally got to attend this event. After getting married two months ago, when we went on our honeymoon, it was the right time to try beer because the weather was extremely hot.

At the first restaurant we went to, I tried Efes malt beer. This is Turkey's most popular beer brand, and people who try beer may have heard of it. It's a smooth, tasty beer. It doesn't have any particular aroma. It's one of my favorite beers. My favorite is the Efes special series, and I've been choosing it most often lately, but they didn't have it at the restaurant.

This view was perfect for drinking beer. I enjoyed the sunset and took small sips of my beer. My wife and I enjoyed the view and had a pleasant conversation. I like having peanuts with my beer, but at the restaurant, I preferred appetizer-style snacks. In the background, you can see pickles, mushrooms, and various appetizers.

This is ProofofBeer. When everything is going well, you don't realize how quickly time passes. The sky suddenly darkened, but I didn't want to leave, so we stayed seated.

Afterwards, we took a short walk and went back to our hotel, but I wanted another bottle of beer. I went to a market and tried Carlsberg to try something different. It was a heavier beer. It had a bitter taste and a different aroma. I don't know how to describe it. It had a higher alcohol content. It's a Danish beer. I don't know if it's popular abroad, but it's quite popular in Turkey. Efes, Heineken, Becks, Carlsberg, Corona, Amsterdam, and Tuborg are other popular beer brands in our country. Unfortunately, craft beers are not very popular, and you won't find breweries or places that only sell beer in every city. @godfish shared a map of nice beer spots I could visit in Istanbul. It's too bad I moved from Istanbul without having the chance to try them. Who knows, maybe my path will lead me back there someday.

Hey, umarım bu hafta sonu güzel zaman geçiriyorsunuzdur ve soğuk bir şeyler içiyorsunuzdur. Ülkemde bazı kesimlerde havalar soğusa da benim yaşadığım şehir hala sıcak sayılır bu yüzden hala kahvemi ve ne içiyorsam onu soğuk içebiliyorum. Bugün ise konumuz farklı: bira!

Hive'a katıldığım ilk günden beri pek çok arkadaşım tarafından #beersaturday etkinliğine davet edildim. Özellikle iki tanesi beni birden fazla kez bu etkinliğe davet etti. Teşekkürler @zekepickleman ve @godfish. Sonunda bu etkinliğe katılabildiğim için mutluyum. İki ay önce evlendikten sonra balayına gittiğimizde bira denemek için doğru zamandı çünkü havalar aşırı sıcaktı.

Önce gittiğimiz restoranda Efes malt bira denedim. Bu Türkiye'nin en popüler bira markası ve bira deneyen insanlar bu markayı duymuş olabilir. Yumuşak içimli lezzetli bir bira. Herhangi bir aroması yok. Benim en sevdiğim biralardan biri. Favorim Efes özel seri ve son zamanlarda en çok onu tercih ediyordum ama restoranda yokmuş.

Bu manzara bira içmek için harikaydı. Günbatımının tadını çıkardım ve biramdan küçük yudumlar aldım. Eşimle birlikte hem manzaranın tadını çıkardık hem de keyifli sohbet ettik. Biranın yanında fıstık olmasını seviyorum ama restorandayken meze tarzı şeyler tercih ettim. Arka planda turşu, mantar ve farklı mezeleri görebilirsiniz.

Bu da ProofofBeer. Her şey iyi giderken zaman ne çabuk geçiyor anlamıyorsunuz. Hava birden karardı ama ben hiç kalkmak istemedim ve oturmaya devam ettik.

Sonrasında biraz yürüyüş yaptık ve kaldığımız otele geçtik ama ben bir şişe bira daha içmek istedim. Bir markete gittim ve farklı bir şeyler deneme amacıyla Carlsberg içtim. Bu daha ağır bir biraydı. Bitter tadı vardı ve farklı bir aroması vardı. Onu nasıl tarif edebileceğimi bilmiyorum. Alkol oranı daha yüksekti. Danimarka menşeili bir bira. Yurtdışında popüler mi bilmiyorum ama Türkiye'de oldukça popüler. Efes, Heineken, Becks, Carlsberg, Corona, Amsterdam ve Tuborg da ülkemizdeki diğer popüler bira markaları. Maalesef demleme biralar çok popüler değil ve her şehirde bira fabrikaları ya da sadece bira satan yerler göremezsiniz. @godfish İstanbul'da tercih edebileceğim güzel bira mekanlarının olduğu bir harita paylaşmıştı. Oraları deneme fırsatım olmadan İstanbul'dan taşınmam çok kötü oldu. Kim bilir, belki yolum tekrardan oraya düşer.
