Con la celebración del dia del idioma finalizo mi primer curso de inglés

Hola, amigos, feliz miércoles. Sean todos bienvenidos a mi blog. Soy Yeli Marín y hoy, con mucha emoción quiero compartirles lo que ha sido mi experiencia en este primer curso de inglés que he realizado.Y es que justo hoy celebramos el Día del Idioma y también del Libro para conmemorar la muerte de varios escritores como Cervantes, Shakespeare e Inca Garcilaso.

También esta fecha se estableció por la UNESCO para la protección de la propiedad intelectual. A propósito de esta fecha damos por terminado mi primer curso de inglés. Donde tuve la oportunidad de conocer e interactuar con nuevas personas, con quienes siempre compartí un rico café y la importancia de seguir conociendo más sobre el idioma universal.

Esta ha sido una extraordinaria experiencia que quiero continuar, pero a un nivel más avanzado. Les puedo compartir que en sólo tres meses aprendí lo que no vi en el liceo en muchos años, aunque el interés en aquel tiempo y ahora fue diferente.

Hello friends, happy Wednesday. Welcome to my blog. I am Yeli Marín and today, with much excitement I want to share with you what has been my experience in this first English course that I have taken, because today we celebrate the Language Day and also the Book Day to commemorate the death of several writers such as Cervantes, Shakespeare and Inca Garcilaso.

Also this date was established by UNESCO for the protection of intellectual property. On this date we are ending my first English course. Where I had the opportunity to meet and interact with new people, with whom I always shared a delicious coffee and the importance of continuing to learn more about the universal language.

This has been an extraordinary experience that I want to continue, but at a more advanced level. I can share with you that in only three months I learned what I did not see in high school for many years, although the interest at that time and now was different.

En esta nueva experiencia de aprendizaje conocí a dos profesoras a quienes admiro; son súper inteligentes y preparadas académicamente y las personas así para mí son dignas de admiración porque se han esforzado para adquirir todos esos conocimientos y dominar una lengua extranjera.

Al principio creí que el inglés era fácil y ahora que lo comencé a estudiar, la verdad es que me pareció un idioma muy complejo e interesante y que es muy importante que lo dominemos, ya que es el idioma que nos conecta con el mundo y eso me entusiasma mucho.

Fue una experiencia gratificante y muy enriquecedora que continúa para mis compañeros, pero en este momento se pone en pausa para mí, y digo esto porque antes de comenzar a estudiar inglés tenía el compromiso de sacar mi maestría y ya estoy en mi último semestre académico y cada vez se vuelve más demandante, sobre todo cuando inicie el desarrollo de mi trabajo especial de grado.

In this new learning experience I met two teachers whom I admire; they are super intelligent and academically prepared and people like that for me are worthy of admiration because they have made an effort to acquire all that knowledge and master a foreign language.
At the beginning I thought English was easy and now that I started studying it, the truth is that I found it a very complex and interesting language and it is very important that we master it, since it is the language that connects us with the world and that excites me a lot.
It was a rewarding and very enriching experience that continues for my classmates, but at this moment it is put on pause for me, and I say this because before starting to study English I had the commitment to get my master's degree and I am already in my last academic semester and it is becoming more and more demanding, especially when I start the development of my special degree work.

Por lo que quiero enfocarme de lleno en terminar todo lo relacionado con mi maestría y cerrar ese ciclo, para luego enfocarme en continuar estudiando inglés de lleno. Y digo esto porque no sólo tengo el compromiso de la universidad; es la casa, los niños, sus escuelas y todo eso es algo que me consume mucho tiempo y energía.

Así que seguiré con mis actividades muy estructuradas, como lo he venido haciendo, adaptando mis horarios para sentir bienestar. Porque también estoy con mis entrenamientos y esto sí que demanda mi energía y, bueno, hay ciertas cosas que aún no están muy balanceadas, sobre todo la hora de dormir, y trabajo en ello.

Este ha sido un estudio al que le he dedicado mucho tiempo, esfuerzo y dinero y estoy muy feliz de haberlo realizado. Fue una gran experiencia que no culmina para mí, sino que la pondré en pausa por el momento.

So I want to focus fully on finishing everything related to my master's degree and closing that cycle, and then I want to focus on continuing to study English fully. And I say this because not only do I have the commitment of the university; it is the house, the children, their schools and all of that is something that consumes a lot of my time and energy.
So I will continue with my very structured activities, as I have been doing, adapting my schedule to feel good. Because I am also with my workouts and this does demand my energy and, well, there are certain things that are still not very balanced, especially bedtime, and I am working on that.
This has been a study that I've put a lot of time, effort and money into and I'm very happy to have done it. It was a great experience that does not end for me, but I will put it on pause for the time being.

Mi meta profesional es el doctorado y, con la ayuda de Dios, lo lograré. Por lo que el estudio del inglés será necesario de cualquier manera. Hoy cierro un ciclo para continuar otros, pero siempre enfocada en lo que quiero lograr y en las metas que estoy por cumplir. Siempre confiando en Dios y su protección en cada uno de mis pasos.

My career goal is a PhD and, with God's help, I will achieve it. So the study of English will be necessary in any case. Today I close one cycle to continue others, but always focused on what I want to achieve and on the goals I am about to accomplish. Always trusting in God and his protection in each of my steps.
