An Unexpected Yet Special Day at Playa Concorde🌴 [Eng/Esp]

I hope you are all doing well and having a great weekend. Last month, one of my friends @noheliah left to study in another country, and even though we knew it was going to happen, in the end, it was quite unexpected. We thought we would have more time to organize a great farewell plan, but even so, we got organized quickly and managed to share two days of outings. The one I want to share with you today is our visit to Playa Concorde.

Espero que se encuentren muy bien y que estén pasando un buen fin de semana. El mes pasado una de mis amigas @noheliah se fue a estudiar a otro país y, aunque ya sabíamos que iba a pasar, al final todo resultó bastante imprevisto. Pensamos que tendríamos más tiempo para organizar un súper plan de despedida, pero aun así nos organizamos rápido y logramos compartir como dos días de salidas. La que quiero compartir hoy con ustedes es nuestra visita a Playa Concorde.

To be honest, I had never been to that beach before. Although I have lived on an island my whole life, I don't know many of its beaches. We went early, so the sun was quite strong, and we didn't take long to start exploring. The atmosphere was very peaceful and the water was incredibly crystal clear.

Since the beach is right behind a hotel, they were also organizing some activities and playing music. But, to be honest, what I liked the most were the kittens. They were very cute, and although I only have photos of two, there were many more. I also saw dogs with their owners enjoying their day at the beach. It was truly delightful.

La verdad, no había visitado esa playa antes. Aunque he vivido toda mi vida en una isla, no conozco muchas de sus playas. Fuimos temprano, así que el solecito que nos acompañaba estaba bastante fuerte, y no tardamos en empezar a explorar. El ambiente era muy tranquilo y el agua, increíblemente cristalina.

Como la playa queda justo detrás de un hotel, también estaban organizando algunas dinámicas y tenían música. Pero, siendo muy sincera, lo que más me gustó fueron los gaticos. Eran muy lindos, y aunque solo tengo foto de dos, había muchos más. También vi perritos con sus dueños disfrutando su día de playa una verdadera cuchitura.

That day we also played volleyball with some kids who were there. I'm terrible at any sport, ha ha ha, but my motto was the important thing is to participate and have fun. And that's how it was. I hadn't played on the beach in a long time, so now it's a funny and very nice memory.

But, a super recommendation: bring lots of sunscreen. That day, even though I applied it twice, I still ended up very red. Other times I've gone to the beach, using less sunscreen, that hasn't happened to me, so I can confirm that the sun on the island is much stronger. Never trust that you have enough sunscreen if you don't want to end up like a shrimp.

Ese día también jugamos voleibol con unos niños que estaban allí. Yo soy malísima en cualquier deporte, jajaja, pero mi lema era lo importante es participar y divertirse. Y así fue. Tenía muchísimo tiempo sin jugar en la playa, así que ahora es un recuerdo chistoso y muy lindo.

Pero, una súper recomendación lleven mucho protector solar. Ese día, aunque me lo apliqué dos veces, igual terminé muy roja. Otras veces que he ido a la playa, usando menos protector, no me había pasado eso, así que puedo confirmar que el sol de la isla está mucho más fuerte. No se confíen nunca es suficiente protector si no quieren terminar como un camarón.

Although we didn't stay at the beach for very long, we tried to make the most of it, creating beautiful memories. Now, a month later, I get a little sentimental when I think back on it, but these are moments that I cherish dearly.
