CARNIVAL 2026: THE BLUE BUTTERFLY [ESP-ENG]

Saludos amigos, espero estén muy bien, deseo que es estos días de carnaval los que puedan estén descansando o disfrutando de los días libres.

Por acá paso a relatar lo mucho que me gusta el carnaval, realmente sus diversos colores, la alegría de los niños, la música, el entusiasmo, bueno realmente TODO, este año en la escuela donde trabajo hubo un desfile de carnaval alusivo al ser Venezolano y todo lo que eso conlleva, así que no se dudo ni un momento en participar.

El tema que le tocó a nuestra escuela fue "Al ritmo de mi tierra", por ende se nos ocurrió que la comparsa donde la reina iba a estar sentada debía ser adornada tanto de los instrumentos de nuestra música venezolana que son El arpa, cuatro y maracas, como de los símbolos naturales del país, que son: una pájaro llamado Turpial, una flor llamada orquídea, un árbol llamado Araguaney, también en el año 2019 a esos símbolos patrios le agregaron La Mariposa Azul, a través de un concurso que realizó una de las universidades más emblemáticas del país, que cabe resaltar nada más y nada menos LA MARIPOSA FUI YO 🤣🤣🤣

Me encanta estar en todas las partes donde haya fiesta, música, caminata, bochinche y si es de disfrazarse pues allí estaré, así que lo hice por 2 razones, primero por lo antes mencionado y segundo porque el verle la cara de felicidad a mis estudiantes especiales es una de mis grandes alegrías, así que este año la maestra fue la mariposa azul.

Fueron pocos los colegios que llevaron comparsas, y realmente la nuestra la hicimos con materiales que habíamos usado para realizar otras cosas, nuestra hermosa reina, llamada Sofia, una niña hermosa con la condición de Síndrome de Down, que por supuesto llamo la atención de todos los presentes por lo hermosa que estaba.

Los otros estudiantes fueron disfrazado con nuestros trajes típicos, llamado Liqui Liqui y otros con trajes alusivos a un baile de la localidad llamado "La llora".

Nuestro día fue maravilloso, aunque había un sol bastante concentrado y el desfile se retraso un poquito, nuestros estudiantes estaban felices, ellos sabían que eran los protagonistas, que estaban a la vista de todo y eso les encanta 🤣.

Así que está mariposa azul en todo momento estuvo feliz, ahora me toca esperar a ver de que me disfrazó el año que viene 🤣🤣 Pero sea algo similar porque realmente me encantó y me disfrute este disfraz, cabe resaltar que el maquillaje fue realizado por mi, un poco inventado, pero creo que no me quedo tan mal.

Ahora pregunto, quien más se va a disfrazar este carnaval????

Greetings, friends. I hope you are all doing well. I hope that those of you who are able to are resting or enjoying your days off during these days of carnival.

I'd like to share how much I love carnival, really, its diverse colors, the children's joy, the music, the enthusiasm, well, really EVERYTHING. This year, at the school where I work, there was a carnival parade alluding to being Venezuelan and everything that that entails, so I didn't hesitate for a moment to participate.

The theme for our school was “To the rhythm of my land,” so we decided that the float where the queen would be seated should be decorated with both the instruments of our Venezuelan music, which are the harp, cuatro, and maracas, as well as the natural symbols of the country, which are: a bird called the Turpial, a flower called the orchid, and a tree called the Araguaney. In 2019, the Blue Butterfly was added to these national symbols through a contest held by one of the most emblematic universities in the country. It is worth noting that I was the butterfly! 🤣🤣🤣

I love being wherever there is a party, music, walking, noise, and if it involves dressing up, then I'll be there. So I did it for two reasons: first, for the reasons mentioned above, and second, because seeing the happy faces of my special students is one of my greatest joys. So this year, the teacher was the blue butterfly.

Few schools had dance troupes, and we really made ours with materials we had used for other things. Our beautiful queen, named Sofia, is a beautiful girl with Down syndrome, who of course caught the attention of everyone present because of how beautiful she was.

The other students were dressed in our traditional costumes, called Liqui Liqui, and others wore costumes alluding to a local dance called “La llora.”

Our day was wonderful. Although the sun was quite intense and the parade was delayed a little, our students were happy. They knew they were the stars of the show, that they were in the spotlight, and they loved it.

So, that blue butterfly was happy the whole time. Now I have to wait and see what costume she picks for me next year 🤣🤣 But I hope it's something similar because I really loved it and enjoyed wearing this costume. It's worth mentioning that I did the makeup myself, improvising a little, but I don't think it turned out too bad.
