¡¡Hola amigos!! Hoy les compartiré como pasamos la tarde visitando a la querida abuela Lucila ❤️

Lucila es la abuelita materna de mi esposo y por ende otra abuela que me dio la vida. Ella es una mujer muy dulce y especial, es una mujer que ha dedicado su vida a atender a todo el mundo y muchas veces le cuesta estar del otro lado dejándose atender.

Hello friends!!! Today I'll share with you how we spent the afternoon visiting dear grandma Lucila ❤️
Lucila is my husband's maternal grandmother and therefore another grandmother who gave me life. She is a very sweet and special woman, she is a woman who has dedicated her life to take care of everyone and many times it is hard for her to be on the other side letting herself be taken care of.

Ya con sus hijos y nietos grandes, cada quien con sus vidas hechas y establecidas, la abuela es la consentida de todos. Sin embargo, ella quiere seguir atendiendo y sirviendo como siempre lo ha hecho, por eso cuando estamos todos ocupados en nuestras diversas actividades, ella se pone un poco triste porque no consigue actividad y se siente sola. Es por eso que en la medida de lo posible estamos todos siempre buscando la forma de estar con ella y recordarle cuanto la queremos y cuan importante es para nosotros.

With her children and grandchildren grown up, each one with their lives established and established, grandma is everyone's favorite. However, she wants to continue attending and serving as she has always done, so when we are all busy in our various activities, she gets a little sad because she does not get any activity and feels lonely. That is why as much as possible we are always looking for ways to be with her and remind her how much we love her and how important she is to us.

En los carnavales todos fueron a reunirse a casa de la abuela como se suele acostumbrar, pero mi esposo y yo teníamos otros compromisos y no pudimos ir. No la veíamos desde enero y ya considerábamos que necesitábamos darle una visita, así que nos preparamos con algunos dulces de panadería y una bolsita de maní, ya que es uno de sus snacks favoritos, pasamos buscando a mi suegra para ir a visitar a nuestra querida Lucila y compartir con ella.

At carnival time everyone went to meet at grandma's house as usual, but my husband and I had other commitments and couldn't go. We hadn't seen her since January and already felt we needed to pay her a visit, so we prepared ourselves with some bakery sweets and a bag of peanuts, since it is one of her favorite snacks, we went looking for my mother-in-law to visit our dear Lucila and share with her.

La abuela vive con el tío Neho (su hijo menor) y su familia, así que cuando la vamos a visitar también aprovechamos de verlos a ellos, que al igual que el resto, Neho y la China son unos tíos muy especiales.

Grandma lives with Uncle Neho (her youngest son) and his family, so when we go to visit her we also take the opportunity to see them, who like the rest, Neho and China are very special uncles.

Compramos para compartir unos panes de guayaba, panes con dulce de leche y trenzas azucaradas, nada mejor que un dulcito delicioso para compartir una merienda con nuestros seres queridos.

We bought some guava breads, dulce de leche breads and sugared braids to share, nothing better than a delicious sweet to share a snack with our loved ones.

Los repartimos mientras conversábamos de como pasaron los días de carnaval, los tíos y mis suegros, que aprovecharon para asistir al desfile de comparsas que se presenta en nuestra ciudad, contaron su experiencia y lo bien que la pasaron disfrutando de ese evento tan característico de Maturín.

We handed them out while we talked about how they spent the carnival days, the uncles and my in-laws, who took the opportunity to attend the parade of “comparsas” that takes place in our city, told their experience and how much fun they had enjoying this event so characteristic of Maturin.

Con la abuela vive un lorito, que es el lorito más consentido que conozco. Es su compañero de aventuras, siempre está a su lado, le da besitos y la cuida mucho. Ella lo llama Coto y es su mejor amigo, ojalá le dure muchos años porque es muy lindo ver como le alegra el momento a nuestra linda abuela Lucila.

With grandma lives a little parrot, who is the most spoiled parrot I know. He is her adventure companion, he is always by her side, gives her kisses and takes care of her. She calls him Coto and he is her best friend, I hope he lasts for many years because it is very nice to see how he cheers up our pretty grandmother Lucila.

Antes de irnos nos dio un paseo por su conuco donde tiene muchas especies de árboles frutales, pero el protagonista de este momento es el de cambur/banano que tiene un racimo grandote que estamos esperando que madure para disfrutarlo entre todos. Como les dije en un principio a la abuela le encanta atendernos, su hobby favorito son sus árboles y la ilusión de que le den frutos es para siempre tener algo que darle a cada uno de nosotros, así que nosotros esperamos siempre con ansias cualquiera de sus cosechas.

Before we left, she gave us a walk through her orchard where she has many species of fruit trees, but the protagonist of this moment is the cambur/banana tree that has a big bunch that we are waiting for it to ripen to enjoy with all of us. As I told you in the beginning, grandma loves to take care of us, her favorite hobby is her trees and the illusion that they give her fruits is to always have something to give to each one of us, so we are always looking forward to any of her harvests.

Mientras la acompañábamos a ver sus árboles nos comimos unas guayabas muy dulces que están empezando a madurar en el árbol de guayabas y muy contentos de haber disfrutado ese rato y alegrarle la tarde a la abuela como ella siempre nos alegra con sus atenciones. Nos regresamos a casa hasta una siguiente ocasión para ir a verla. Gracias, gracias, gracias por votar, compartir y comentar mis momentos. Hasta la próxima ❤️😁

While we accompanied her to see her trees we ate some very sweet guavas that are beginning to ripen in the guava tree and we were very happy to have enjoyed this time and to cheer up Grandma's afternoon as she always cheers us up with her attentions.
