¡Hola amigos! Como todos los años, se realizó el viacrucis correspondiente en el urbanismo donde viven mis papás. Esta es una actividad en la que cada vez que puedo participo porque es una de las formas que tengo para darle gracias a Dios por todas las bendiciones que le da a mi vida. Además me encanta la manera en la que todos los vecinos se unen para compartir y alabar a Dios.

Hello friends! As every year, the corresponding Stations of the Cross took place in the housing development where my parents live. This is an activity in which I participate every time I can because it is one of the ways I have to thank God for all the blessings He gives to my life. I also love the way all the neighbors come together to share and praise God.

Cuaresma es el tiempo donde como cristianos, nos corresponde recordar todos los sacrificios que hizo el hijo de Dios (Jesús) para liberarnos del pecado. Para nosotros, los que creemos en él, este tiempo es muy importante porque nos ayuda a buscarlo, a conocerlo un poco más y a prepararnos para recibirlo en nuestros corazones con la cantidad de actividades que se realizan durante esta temporada y luego en Pascua o Semana Santa.

Lent is the time when, as Christians, it is up to us to remember all the sacrifices that the Son of God (Jesus) made to free us from sin. For those of us who believe in him, this time is very important because it helps us to seek him, to know him a little more and to prepare ourselves to receive him in our hearts with the many activities that take place during this season and then at Easter or Holy Week.

No me considero una persona religiosa, pero sí tengo muy clara y definida mi Fe, gracias a ella soy cada día más segura y en tiempos de oscuridad y dolor es quien me ayuda a salir adelante. Por eso cada vez que tengo la oportunidad de dar gracias a Dios participando en alguna actividad para rendirle homenaje lo haré, porque es lo mínimo que puedo hacer y no se compara ni con un grano de arroz con todo lo que hace él por mí y por mi familia.

I do not consider myself a religious person, but I do have a very clear and defined faith, thanks to it I am more confident every day and in times of darkness and pain is who helps me to move forward. That is why every time I have the opportunity to thank God by participating in some activity to pay tribute to him I will do it, because it is the least I can do and it does not even compare with a grain of rice with all that he does for me and my family.

En el urbanismo donde viven mis papás los vecinos son muy solidarios y todos los años acuden al llamado para organizar con mucho ánimo el viacrucis correspondiente. Son 15 estaciones y se necesitan 15 casas que ofrezcan su frente para poner cada estación. Afortunadamente siempre hay casas de sobra para poder lograrlo, a nosotros, en casa de mis padres siempre nos toca la última o la penúltima estación. Este año nos tocó la penúltima estación, siempre agradecidos con el nazareno por permitirnos recibirlo y recibir a nuestros vecinos en esta hermosa actividad.

In the neighborhood where my parents live, the neighbors are very supportive and every year they come to the call to organize with great enthusiasm the corresponding stations of the cross. There are 15 stations and 15 houses are needed to offer their front to place each station. Fortunately, there are always enough houses to be able to do it. In my parents' house, we always have the last or the penultimate station. This year we were the penultimate station, always grateful to the Nazarene for allowing us to receive him and our neighbors in this beautiful activity.

En cada estación se recuerda el camino que tuvo que atravesar Jesús para lograr la salvación y el perdón de nuestros pecados, también se ofrecen las intenciones personales, de la comunidad y las de la iglesia que todos los años escoge un tema en particular por el cual pedir. Este año el tema fue la salud mental, todas las estaciones tuvieron palabras que hacían referencia a esta enfermedad que afecta hoy en día a tantas personas y a quienes la viven con ellos. Me pareció una intención espectacular la que escogió la iglesia este año.

At each station we remember the path that Jesus had to go through to achieve salvation and forgiveness of our sins, we also offer our personal intentions, those of the community and those of the church that every year chooses a particular theme for which to pray. This year the theme was mental health, all the stations had words referring to this disease that affects so many people today and those who live with them. I thought it was a spectacular intention that the church chose this year.

Al finalizar uno de los vecinos tenía preparado en su frente un pequeño compartir al que todos acudimos para refrescarnos luego de las dos horas de procesión. Cuando escribo que fueron dos horas parece que estoy hablando de mucho tiempo, pero la verdad es que cuando algo se hace con cariño y con el entusiasmo con el que todos los vecinos nos unimos para hacer esta actividad esas horas pasaron muy rápido y con mucha tranquilidad.

At the end of the procession one of the neighbors had prepared a small sharing in front of him, to which we all went to refresh ourselves after the two hours of procession. When I write that it was two hours it seems that I am talking about a long time, but the truth is that when something is done with affection and with the enthusiasm with which all the neighbors joined together to do this activity, those hours passed very quickly and with a lot of tranquility.

Esta es una de las pequeñas maneras que tiene mi religión para agradecer, cada religión tiene la suya y para mí personalmente, mientras se haga con buena intención, todas son válidas. Gracias, gracias, gracias siempre por votar, compartir y comentar. Hasta la próxima ❤️
