Discovering A Clear Plastic Bag Filled With My Handwritten Letters: It Brought Back Memories

Hi everyone! It's #TBT time again! đŸŒ·
‎
‎Last week, I decided to revisit my old wardrobe in the storage room. It has been a long time since I last wore my favorite clothes, especially after my pregnancy.
‎
‎Now that my baby is a year old, I feel a sense of readiness to wear something that once made me feel confident and beautiful.
‎
‎So I rummaged through dusty boxes, carefully pulling out pieces.
‎
‎As I delved deeper, I unexpectedly discovered a clear plastic bag filled with colorful papers.

Intrigued, I opened it and saw my handwritten letters to my husband.

It brought back memories, the excitement of new love.
‎
‎It was on the 24th of every month that I wrote my love letter to my husband.
‎
‎It was our monthsary so it became a little tradition that I cherish deeply.
‎
‎Normally, my letters are heartfelt poems, expressing how much I love him, and how grateful I am to have him in my life.

‎I love pouring my feelings into words.
‎
‎It's funny how these handwritten notes, with their imperfect loops and personal touches, carry so much more weight than social media messages or digital texts.
‎
‎You can see the love, the effort, and the emotion.

Looking back, I find it adorable and meaningful how these letters have stood the test of time.
‎
‎It was more than a decade of love notes tucked away in a plastic bag.
‎
‎It's like a little treasure chest.
‎
‎Actually, I had forgotten about these little efforts I used to make before.
‎
‎So reading through some of my messages brings back the memories.
‎
‎The days we spent together, the small surprises, and even the tears.
‎
‎All of it, made me realize that, if I were to choose how I want to express my love again, I would still prefer a handwritten letter.
‎
‎It's a way of showing effort and sincerity that no social media post can truly match.
‎
‎Good thing my hubby keeps everything and shows his appreciation!
‎
‎I'd be furious if he didn't treasure it. đŸ„č
‎
‎Until my next love and effort...
‎
‎Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌾

Just before reaching the end of your post, I was going to ask you how you had them and if your wife had given them back to you. Hahaha.

Yes, things that are close at hand definitely hold the energy of love. What you have there is very beautiful, a real treasure for your children. They will be happier than you when they read them one day. @mayt đŸ„°

Haha... My husband is the one who keeps our clothes organized, so it's he who put them in storage when I was pregnant.

I remember when I read my mom and dad's love letters; I was amazed at how they communicated back then... And looks like my children will feel that too when they read ours. â˜ș
