Throw back Thursday. Memories of our Christmas gifts
Hello guys, welcome back to my blog for this Tuesday. Compliment of the season once again to all my friends. I pray that we have a very good year ahead.
We are still in our festive season and it still feels as if Christmas is still here. Despite the fact that it has come and gone, we still have some of its impact in our lives and that is what I want to share with us today.
Before Christmas we decide to do something very special as a family and this is what we have never done before. I have experienced it in our churches and other communities where I belong, but not on family levels. But for this past Christmas we decided to give it a trial.
We all received special gifts from every member of the family. We all wrote our names of a tiny paper, scattered the names on the table and it was picked randomly by everyone. Christmas day was fixed for receiving gifts and we all came together in the afternoon. We prayed before starting, we sang songs of praise unto God. When it was time to give gifts, we had to pray for everyone before given of gifts. The gifts part made it very special and at the end we were all happy with our gifts.

This for me should be a tradition for every family that's the whole enhance of Christmas. It's a season of giving, sharing and merriment. That's why 26th is called boxing day.. A day to unbox all the gifts under the Christmas tree. Thanks fir sharing 👍
