Uncharted 4’s ‘The Twelve Towers’ – A Visual Adventure

Hello and Welcome back to my blog!

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is giving me a lot of satisfaction. The game is made with so much love that every corner of it is filled with great detail and amazing models, and I am here to showcase some of the best shots I took while playing it.

I was pleasantly surprised to see this peacock statue. I wished it was day scene to get a brighter image, but even with this scene, the elongated shadows made it look nice. Peacocks have been a symbol of royalty for so long in India, and being a national bird for India, my eyes got drawn to them automatically.

That reminded me of a childhood memory where a peacock would come to our house every evening and we as kids would feed it some grains. I was around fiveyearsr old and the youngest sibling too. And they are massive for a kid that small.

In the last post, I complained that the puzzles are a bit too easy but thankfully, they have become slightly interesting. This one was not too difficult, but having one of those classic, 'moving the pieces' on a big dial to sort them out in a specific order. At least it looks good. xD

Trying to find the lost pirate treasure is not an easy task. We encountered a lot of hidden structures that were lost for probably hundreds of years. But who in his right mind commissions these elaborate puzzles andspendsd a fortune on making these huge statues on just clues? Probably some Pirates with a lot of stolen riches?

It was time to go to Madagascar!

We headed to a volcano where we suspected to find more clues and maybe the treasure. The landscape was one of the most beautiful I have experienced in a video game.

Our 4x4 was a big help in this place and it helped us cross tough terrain. We crossed terrain which had no trails and some were slippery and muddy. The wrench that we got along with this rental vehicle helped us get out of there successfully.

But we were not the first ones here. Our rivals were already there digging the place up in search of the treasure. The only difference between them and us was that they had an army of mercenaries while we were just three men out. Sadly, they were blowing everything up with dynamite.

I loved the trees here as well and took some pictures to remember this cool place. These Baobab trees are spread across Africa, India, and Australia. Look at those fatty trunks, how much water and nutrients they store.

I played with the filters a bit too, and some of them suited this environment well. This place felt a bit too hot so I applied the cool filter and the shot suddenly felt much more balanced. Don't you agree?

There were a lot of high towers like this in this place. Many had guard patrols waiting for us and we had to defeat enemies in regular intervals. Our search ended up with the biggest tower that was close to the volcano.

This wasn't the end of the game and was just a checkpoint to go to the next location. This treasure quest has turned out to be a lot longer than I thought. At the end of the chapter, we got ambushed and had to come out alive after a fierce battle. Seems like every chapter ends in the most violent way possible.

I had a perfect filter which tells you the chaotic nature of these encounters. It is a bit bold but that's how it feels, it was a literal hell at the end.

Let me know which shot you liked the most. And if you played this game, which one was your favorite chapter?

Thanks for reading...

Until next shot...

There is nothing more beautiful than enjoying a game that you like and being able to explore every corner finding details, I feel that is a way to thank the developers for dedicating the time it deserves and see every detail of the game.
