Cuatro Colinas – A Visual Journey
Hello and welcome back to my blog!

I've shared many DLC maps from theHunter: Call of the Wild over the years, collected steadily, though I don't own all of them yet. Today, I'll tell you about one more such reserve.
The Cuatro Colinas Game Reserve is set in the Spanish countryside. It features a variety of interesting landscapes, including pine forests and cultivated fields of sunflowers, lavender, and more. This is one of the few reserves that showcases such a significant amount of land influenced by human presence.
My favorite aspect of this reserve has to be these sprawling lavender fields; they look gorgeous. These are found across multiple regions of the reserve, not just in one specific area.
Other flowers are present too, notably huge fields of sunflowers. No other reserve features these elements, making them one of Cuatro Colinas's most unique characteristics. You can walk through these fields, and you'll occasionally spot Roe deer or various birds around them.
There are also large, open fields filled with hay bales, which are among the best areas for hunting animals. Hunting Roe deer and pheasants is relatively easy in these vast, open spaces.

You might think this reserve is solely about cultivated lands, lacking that 'wild' factor, but you'd be mistaken. Many parts of this reserve remain untouched by human presence.
Some of the forests here are dense, providing excellent cover for animals to hide and hunt each other.
Plenty of water bodies are present. A major river flows from the upper left corner of the map to the lower right, effectively splitting the reserve into two nearly equal parts.
You'll find numerous lakes here as well, and their average size seems larger than those in most other reserves in the game.

Let's discuss the wildlife. The reserve boasts many interesting animals to hunt, not just land animals. There are birds like the "Ring-Necked Pheasant," which I particularly enjoy hunting. I'm still searching for a diamond trophy pheasant; only the males display those striking, vibrant colors.
Iberian Wolves are also present here and appear to be very aggressive. They can gang up and attack you, making it tricky to escape their assaults. More often than not, you're the one being hunted.
There are multiple species of wild goats here, at least three or four different ones. Additionally, you'll find two species of deer: Roe deer and Red deer. I particularly enjoy hunting Red deer for their enormous antlers.
The outpost buildings are unique as well; they aren't just generic camps and fit the overall aesthetic of this place.
I still have many story missions to complete in this reserve. Every time I visit, I get distracted by the views and casual hunts. I should complete the story here to see if I can obtain a special weapon or item towards the end of the campaign.
I'll leave you with one of my favorite shots from the reserve, a single image that encapsulates its essence. You can see the beautiful landscape as the sun sets, its last rays shining on the fields. In the distance, you'll also notice some untouched areas.
Which part of the reserve intrigues you the most? I personally love the fields of sunflowers and lavender. Those empty golden fields are also excellent hunting spots.
Thanks for reading.

For a brief moment I thought they were real photographs, not from a game.🤔
Thank you for fooling me and for making me want to start taking pictures of games.
But I have a big problem: I'm not a fan of games 🫣 (We all have a big flaw, don't we?).😏
My goal is to start my journey into game photography with the release of Holozing. I hope it takes a while, because I still have a lot of studying and practicing in this genre of photography to do.
haha... some get confused with these shots too. This game has some of the best landscapes I have seen, feels very realistic. Good luck with Holozing, we're all waiting to play it!
Thanks a lot, friend 🤝
