Visiting colossal ancient walls and temples with ancient Persian architecture - Photo challenge
Hey guys! How have you been? As you may already know, the photographic challenges in this community do not stop and this week there is a very peculiar and interesting one in which we must show some impressive buildings, cities or architectural sites of the video games. So also if it is to your liking I invite you to participate, it will be epic!
As you should have seen in the image above, today I will be showing you some buildings or in this case they would be colossal temples (due to which game is set in a variant of ancient Persia), and for this there is no better video game than Prince of Persia is undoubtedly epic and also brings me a lot of nostalgia.
Without more to add we begin!
A strong sandstorm has engulfed the prince, who was adrift in some desert of ancient Persia, and if you wonder what he was doing there? Well, he was looking for his donkey named "Farah", this animal had in his cargo a precious and expensive loot that belonged to the prince, but now it was totally lost...
After wandering for a while in the middle of the storm, he saw a woman running away from some guards, so here I come in to play to take the reins in the matter...
I started to fight with those strange guards with my sword, but I had to leave them alone because I didn't want to lose sight of that mysterious woman...
By the way, she was very agile climbing walls!, With a little time I think I will be able to reach it.
While I was trying to keep up with her, I came across some interesting arched walls, so I took a few photographs, at the same time I could feel that I was close to some colossal architecture that could serve me for this photographic challenge, so I continued to follow the woman.
We were crossing a big bridge that I wanted to photograph more calmly, but I couldn't do it, because those guards destroyed it with some heavy columns, they wanted to kill me!
When I was about to fall into the void, the woman extended her hand to me and saved me with her magical powers!
She seemed to be weakened by using her powers, so I had to carry her for a while, at that moment she told me her name "Elika" and told me that I should help her find an ancient temple, so my expression was one of joy because I would finally find what I needed so much!
After a few jumps, we managed to reach the temple.
But when everything seemed to be perfect, a man in a robe appeared on the cliff who turned out to be Elika's father, who for some strange reason wanted to stop her.
To escape from him, we had to lower that cliff, she with her powers and I with my gauntlet of claws.
I got ready to get closer to make some clearer shots.
And just look at this great architecture!
You're probably wondering: why the hell is there a gigantic tree over the temple? Well, this is because this is the tree of life, and it works like a magical prison that keeps "Ahriman" (the god of darkness) locked up and for a very good reason it is locked there everything is to avoid chaos.
Meanwhile, I wanted to explore a little more the structure of this majestic place.
The roots of this gigantic tree had taken over a large part of the palace; however, it seemed beautiful to me to see this combination of what is built by man and what is natural.
I wanted to enter and see the temple from inside, so with the help of Elika we pulled a lever that opened the immense doors of the temple.
Inside it looked even more beautiful, that ancient style was reflected on the walls with intriguing writings and engravings.
Later there would be the source of power that keeps Ahriman the god of darkness imprisoned; however, I will photograph this in a next post...

I did not know this title of the prince of persia, I really like the details look like oil. I have always liked the ancient temples like these, they have that aura of incredible mysticism and the truth the giant temple with the giant tree on top is fanastantico, very good shots :D

By the way, since you mention it you're right, the video game has a visual style that very few games have to offer, because I also loved that style of graphics that look like drawings almost like pieces of art.
Speaking of the temple, yes it also has interesting things to see and a surprising backstory, in a few days you will probably see the continuation of this story in another post.

Prince of Persia I love the story and the game I really liked the pictures and my favorite was the one of the building next to that big tree it looks great.
I also love the plot that surrounds these video games, I was hooked with the one of the delivery titled Prince of Persia and the sands of time...

The huge tree on top of the building is incredible. I think it must have grown after the building was built so it must be very, very old for that tree to reach that size.
In that you are right the tree is very old to be so colossal, and it is also like a prison that encloses the god of darkness. And inside that temple there is another smaller tree that has the name "tree of life", it is simply magical.

I don't remember the last time I played one of the Prince of Persia installments, they were a lot of fun, for strange reasons I haven't played any of them again, the structures you shared look amazing.
I am also one of those who love the structures that blend with nature, the part of the roots is amazing, in fact I love it, a whole tree stands on those ruins.
Well that's true, it has one each installment of this saga, they have exotic temples like this, I hope you try some of the most recent installments, because those are even more epic because of the advanced graphics.
